HR Generalist

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Human Resources Generalist to join our Pandora Argentina team.
Under the direction of the cluster HR Business Partner, the Human Resources Generalist will drive results for all human resource efforts for assigned clients. Participates in the development of human resource policies and programs including employee relations, talent acquisition, communication, compensation, payroll and other functions. Provides coaching and counseling to management and employees in order to enhance individual contributions. Provide HR support to various departments in the organization to include talent management and talent acquisition.
Your Role as a Human Resources Generalist:
Payroll:
- Responsible of local new hires, terminations and payroll changes.
- Reviews and requests payroll reports for accuracy.
- Attends and responses employees’ doubts and concerns.
Talent Management:
- Partner with the Talent Manager in supporting an effective partnership with assigned business clients through consultation on human resources strategic and operational issues as it relates to the business plan.
- Collaborates with management and employees to identify and resolve issues achieving a balance between business’ needs and employee needs.
- Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counselling managers and employees.
- Attends issues according to Ethic Code to improve manager and employee performance.
- Provides advice and guidance on employee relations' issues and performance management.
- Uses critical thinking to effectively solve human resource issues; provide conflict resolution when required.
- Ensures compliance with local laws that impact HR; responds to local authorities and employee inquiries/complaints and coordinated their resolution.
- Assists management to leverage talent among work groups (e.g. cross-training, rotational assignments and redeployment).
- Partner with Commercial department when incidents, terminations and special cases.
Talent Acquisition:
- Partner with Talent Acquisition Manager and assigned business clients in the organization to manage the recruitment process for external and internal applicants including both non-exempt and exempt employees.
- Promotes the guidelines designed by PANDORA to attract and retain the best talent.
- Manages the PANDORA internal posting process and ensures that there is appropriate communication relative to position application status, etc. with internal staff.
- Manages the PANDORA career opportunity website, other job boards and the HRIS applicant tracking system.
- Partners with agencies to bring qualified temporary employees while overseeing and managing agency agreements, i.e. length of assignment, negotiating rates.
- Manages all New Hire employee paperwork including administering pre-employment testing, pre-employment assessments, and reference checks.
- Partners with the Human Resources Business Partner and hiring managers to ensure appropriate organizational acculturation and acclamation through orientation and on-boarding services.
- Data management tracking including recruitment reporting.
Other:
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
- Creates/ updates policies according to the market previous consultations and approval of the HR Director of the cluster
- Partner with the HR Director in reviewing operating practices and procedures, determine whether improvements can be made and work to implement changes as appropriate.
- Plans, facilitate and/or execute on assigned projects.
- Participates in special projects related to HR initiatives and where designated, operate as project lead
- Responsible of all the local labour laws matters needed to operate according to the law, i.e contracts, annex, be the visible speaker for local audit institutions, between other activities needed for this purpose.
- Partner with HRBP in monitoring local HR budget based on expenses report and further open stores
- Leads and organizes the team building and engagement activities for the organization.
- Responsible of attending and following up on labor disputes in process.
- Collects and provides local information to analyze turnover rates.
What is needed to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience or a combination of education and work experience.
- Attention to detail, with strong organizational, analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to maintain high level of confidentiality.
- Responsive to customer needs while maintaining professionalism, respect and consideration of others.
- Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to change in the work environment
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors work to ensure quality.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of human resources administration.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and conflict management skills.
- Advanced English
