The Role

Lead the eCommerce & Customer Service team and manage the commercial performance and operations of the online business across Australia and New Zealand. This role collaborates with Sales, Finance, Marketing and Merchandise to deliver the overall business strategy and key business goals.

  • Develop talent and build succession plans for the future leaders in eCommerce, CX and wider organization
  • Drive engagement, satisfaction, leadership effectiveness
  • Build and nurture a high performing team that moves forward with the needs of the business
  • Facilitate a healthy culture of testing, learning and being agile to encourage free thinking and pushing the boundaries
  • Influence the strategic direction of the business through eCommerce and omnichannel expertise
  • Share and align the business strategy within eCom & CX, ensuring all priorities and projects are relevant to the overall business’ goals
  • Create the vision for the team on what good looks like, and work with the team to create short, medium and long terms goals to reach the ambitions
  • Ensure commercial alignment and synergy within eCommerce/CX  as well as across the organization
  • Articulate and communicate the strategy, objectives and goals to key stakeholders, and keep track of progress to ensure the delivery of the strategy
  • Build credible business cases to validate & evaluate commercial impact to the business
  • Prioritise the eCommerce and CX workflows to deliver the items with the largest and most beneficial commercial impact to Pandora
  • Own eCommerce KPIs – Traffic, Conversion, sales, units per order, basket and average selling price Achievement of agreed targets for SOG, EBIT and margin
  • Delivery of local eCommerce trading, merchandising and operational plans in-line with global strategy

 

You Have

  • You are a strong people leader and ecommerce professional with maturity and commercial experience to operate as part of the leadership team
  • You are passionate about the commercial side of retail ecommerce with demonstrated experience in generating accurate sales and order volume forecasts and driving the website trading strategy to achieve these within a fast-paced retail environment
  • You have a high commercial acumen with analytical, operational and performance optimization skills to drive sustainable online sales growth without relying on promotions or discounting
  • You have a natural curiosity to continuously test and learn, seeking out meaningful measurement and insights in everything you do
  • Your experience includes working for a global retail fashion brand where you have adapted global strategies to suit local markets
  • You have completed tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as business or marketing
