Data Analyst

As our Data Analyst based in our beautiful new North Sydney office, you will assess and translate opportunities for data and analytics methods for assigned Use Case across BUs, provide consulting, advice, training, and support in data analytics, and work hands-on on building and delivering the data products.

 

  • Formulate and articulate data product strategy aligned with organisational objectives. Develop and manage a comprehensive product roadmap, outlining key features and releases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, fostering effective communication and alignment
  • Play as a role of data advisory to key stakeholders to provide guidance, recommendations, & industrial knowledge on how to leverage data assets
  • Evaluate, analyse, and documentate business requirements through a thorough understanding of business objectives, and translate into proper solution specifications
  • Deliver data products including but not limited to reporting, insight analysis, and data science driven products. Lead and collaborate with internal chapter teams (architecture, engineering, data science, platform etc) and external vendor for large scale delivery.

 

You Have

  • Demonstrated experience in Data Analysis (3-5 years)
  • Experience of working in Retail and E-commerce sector, good understanding of the business and capable of mining insights from data
  • Sound knowledge & experience in business communication skills and reporting  
  • Degree in Mathematics, Information Technology, Business, Economics or similar
  • Proficiency in data visualisation, SQL, and querying/manipulating complex raw datasets
  • Experience of Power BI, data visualisation in DAX preferred
  • Passion for data science & AI, & having Python or Pyspark skills is a plus
