Vice President, Plant Head (BB)

We are looking for the Vice President, Plant Head to lead our BB Plant in Bangkok, Thailand. Our BB Plant is where we manufacture our products that are gold and rose gold plated. It is one of the largest Plating factories in the world with approx. 3,000 employees producing over 20 million pieces of jewellery each year. It is a world-class facility and forms a crucial part of Pandora’s Crafting & Supply organisation.

 

Your role as Vice President, Plant Head BB:

As our Vice President, Plant Head BB, you will provide strategic direction and visionary leadership to ensure the continued successful operation and evolution of the facility. The individual will lead a cross-functional team and work closely with colleagues within the Crafting & Supply organisation and Global teams based in Copenhagen. The role is located in Bangkok, Thailand where we have 2 of our crafting facilities. We have another in Lamphun, Thailand and a fourth opening in Binh Duong, Vietnam in 2026.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Overall management of shop-floor operations and P&L responsibility for the BB Plant
  • Set the strategic direction for Production and other initiatives to ensure the plant continues to operate at the highest possible standard in line with Pandora’s global strategy
  • Provide strong and inspirational leadership to all plant employees and broader cross-functional colleagues as a member of the C&S Leadership team
  • Drive production performance across all areas to ensure product are delivered according to optimized cost, quality and services
  • Drive continuous improvement and strive for production excellence including development of productivity roadmap for production unit
  • Proactively coordinate with the Innovation team to implement innovation pilots and support transition into mass-production of new innovations
  • Responsible for establishing budget planning, production strategic/ productivity roadmap and KPI targets
  • Ensure optimization of CAPEX and OPEX according to budget
  • Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues in Design, Product Development and Quality to optimise production processes for new products, prepare for mass-production and solve design and product issues as they arise
  • Ensure effective collaboration between Production, Pre-production, Quality, Innovation, and Product Development functions to drive optimized production cost, on-time delivery, and high quality
  • Partner with Digital & Technology colleagues to drive Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory solutions to achieve a greater level of digitisation, connectivity and automation
  • Maintain a strong and active relationship with the union committee

 

What is needed to succeed:

  • Experience leading large scale manufacturing plants within multinational companies (experience with Electroplating and PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is preferred)
  • Experience in E2E product development to mass production operations including innovation and continuous improvement culture
  • Strong experience in multinational Supply Chain environments related to manufacturing
  • Possess strategic perspective and create sustained results for Pandora, Pandora C&S, Pandora PPT
  • Inspirational leadership combined with genuine humility and the ability to place the team’s interests above your own
  • Demonstrated ability to lead with high level of empathy and emotional intelligence
  • Self-motivated, driven, proactive, and willingness to drive positive changes
  • Ability to deliver exceptional results and balance both volume and complexity of tasks
  • Very strong stakeholder management and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues locally and internationally
  • Experience leading a manufacturing plant through Industry 4.0 implementation and/or digital/automation transformations is preferred
  • Experience leading a unionised workforce and dealing directly with unions is preferred
  • Ability to prioritise and solve complex business problems
  • Fluent in English
