Supervisor, Supplier Quality Control

Job description:

•    Execute and control in-bound inspection process to ensure all materials and products supplied by supplier since development until mass-production phases are in adherence to product regulatory standard and PANDORA requirements using the approved quality standard, criteria, and method.
•    Ensure containment actions of quality issue related to supplier be implemented and handled precisely and efficiently.
•    Ensure the failure investigation and feedback to concerned.
•    Cooperate with internal stakeholders to follow up and monitor the outflow feedback & complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.
•    Create effective reports such as daily inspection report, Capacity & productivity & WIP aging report etc.
•    Review, ensure, and monitor capability, capacity, and productivity of supplier quality control team & notify management immediately on any issues.
•    Create, review and update procedure, operation & inspection standard, work instruction regularly including inspection time & frequency of inspection.
•    Ensure team understand operation & inspection standard, work instruction.
•    Monitor the environment of the safe working place.
•    Implement and ensure Supplier Quality Control team be trained regularly and appropriately.
•    Implement continuous improvement activities.
•    5S monitoring and improvement.
•    Communicate department goal to team and monitor regularly.
•    Any assignment from Management.

Qualification:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, science or Jewelry
•    3 - 5 years’ experience on material incoming inspection process
•    Knowleage of continuous improvement, quality management, drawing, specification, and standardization
•    Problem analysis experiences
•    Experience in Jewelry industry (prefered)
•    Experience in team leading at least 10 persons
•    Familiar with Statistical and analytic tool
•    Leadership skill, logical thinkng skill
•    Self-motivated and willing to change
•    Understands technical inspects of spare parts, raw material, etc.
•    Knowledge of ISO standard (prefered)
•    Understanding of quality standards required in the Jewelry industry
•    Understand in raw material process and apply quality system to supplier. 
•    Strong and detailed technical knowledge in Product Development process
•    Familiar with AQL, LAR, Gage R&R, Process capability study and problem analysis tool (5-why etc.)
•    Continuous improvement behavior
•    MS offices (SAP, BI, Minitab)
•    Good English communication both writing and speaking, Communication and prersentation skill
