The primary responsibility of this posotion is to leading quality activities during innovation and new product developemnt ensure the delivery of innoavtion products according to product performance requirement as well as complaince requirement. Ultimate goal is to meet or exceed the customers expectation. He/She acts as a point of contact for all quality related matters for every innovation/pre-gate 0 projects and items. He/She also provides leadership for the project team and liaises with the heads of advance quality department to ensure complete compliance to standards and a consistent approach that guarantees results.
Key objectives:
- Be the quality gate faciliator, controller and coordinator for innovation and special project’s deliverables and timeline.
- Ensure closed-loop communication of quality related to all stakeholder in PPT and CPH team along innovation process and special project key milestones.
- Ensure quality assessment and technical guideline on design and quality assurance have been communicated to all stakeholder both in PPT and CPH team.
Key duties:
- Be a quality point of contact to both PPT and CPH team along innovation process and special project key milestones.
- To coordinate, control and ensure all advanced quality activities e.g. product inspection, quality inspection, specification, procedures, tolerance chart and quality improvement of innovation, new design and new raw materials haven been completed and successfully handovered to stakeholders.
- Update the quality acitivies, deliverables and progress as well as escalating the red-flags or issues to superior and stakeholders.
- Review and take lesson learn from database relate to innovation and complexity product and share to stakeholders
- Be a point of contact to support AQ and MQC for any quality-matter related to innovation, new design and new materials with excellent service.
- To faciliate the quality risk assessment with concerns and share the stakeholder along innovation process.
- To work with AQPP and AQ Lab to identify and define the testing plan for any innovation projects.
- To work with concerns to identify and align the standard quality related e.g. product inspection, quality inspection, specification, procedures, initial tolerance chart.
- To facilitate and arrange the innovation sample shipment.
- Gathering necessary information to provide quality POV and technical input, recommendation (Go/No Go).
- To facliate benchmarking study and testing result.
- To support any further requirement from innovation activities and Superiors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Jewelry or any related fields
- 3-5 years of experience in customer quality field
- Experience in manufacturing environment, Jewelry, Working experiences in jewelry manufacturing is preferred
- Project management and change management skills Analysis skill e.g. risk and cause analysis
- Stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills
- Communication and inter-personal skills; interact effectively with the organization
- Ability to identify, analytical, options evaluation and driving the solutions and Critical thinking skill
- Team leadership and coaching skill: ability to lead, manage, coach and motivate a team and subordinates
- Detailed and result oriented and willingness to learn new methods and systems
- Integrity and resilience under pressure
- Fluent both Thai and English
