Main Purpose of the Role:

Key Accountabilities:

  • KEY OBJECTIVES:
    • Drive highest compliance under supplier development
    • Monitor supplier compliance of all key categories except Contract Manufacturing
    • Drive supplier assessment and collaborate effectively with all relevant stakeholders to ensure stringent standards
  • KEY DUTIES:
    • Work with Senior Managers to set high-level targets and plans for Procurement, Contract Governance and Compliance
    • Develop SOPs for Process, Governance and Audit including supplier evaluation criteria, performance tracking, and management plan
    • Instill appropriate governance and control all complied within Procurement and Contract Manufacturing
    • Implement contracting manual, including contract governance policies
    • Review draft contracts to support CM as needed
    • Provide input to Legal to create master supplier / service provider contracts including all important clauses (e.g. delivery method, term of payment, governing law, etc.) and customize contracts to accommodate specific requirements
    • Provide input regarding local practice and limitation; ensure contracts comply with local regulations to Plant Head
    • Perform regular audit of performance and site visits and drive performance improvement for direct and indirect materials including global suppliers
    • Work with Supplier Quality to ensure supplier qualification and compliance of legal, ethical and partner commitments (e.g. RJC, Disney, Signet)
    • Work with CM to monitor local supplier / service provider data, analyze performance, performance regulator audit of performance and site visits and driver performance improvement at each production site
    • Monitor and maintain local supplier qualification and compliance of legal, ethical and partner commitments
    • Provide input to Legal to amend master contract and SOPs per changing regulations, ways of working, business risks
    • Continuously improve supplier assessment criteria and guidelines while working in close collaboration with various teams in PPT including Risk Management, Quality Assurance, Finance, Materials Management, Contract Manufacturing, etc.
    • Monitor own performance and address gaps / improvement opportunities; prepare monthly / quarterly performance reports, share and collaborate with SCM Excellence

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration, Legal, or related
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement process and contract management
  • Good detail-orientated and negotiation skill
  • Good command of English and Thai.
  • Drive the solution from basic to medium and complex business problems
  • Effectively plan and efficiently deliver exceptional work while handling both volume and complexity
  • Proactive and self-motivated and hungry enough to work hard; willing to change
  • Has an ability to lead, manage, motivate and influence
