Supervisor, Centralize Alternative Production (GEMO)
Education : Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other related fields.
Qualification :
• Have knowledge in machine operation, automation and programming
• Know about alternative production e.g., Plastic injection, Stamping, CNC and Laser cutting.
• Know about managing tumbling machines.
• Know CAD/CAM/CAE/PLC/Programming
• Have basic knowledge in GD&T
• Have team management experience
• Experience in automation industry is preferable
Accountabilities:
Maintain alternative production
-
Drive, control,monitor and supervise alternative production to achieve company Key performance indicator, on-time delivery, quality, safety and cost

Prepare production readiness (manpower, raw materials, Machine and tools) and information.

Control and proceed to fully utilizing use fully capacity of manpower, machine and working time in each department and following production plan within schedule.

Control and monitor direct/indirect material movement and variance.
-
Control and implement for health and safety regulation/5S compliance.

Lead and coordinate with key stakeholder to align product accepted quality.

Drive alternative manufacturing capability and maintain the best practice.

Collaborate with internal key stakeholders and external key stakeholders.
-
Review the planning order from master planning team, ensuring the availability of materials for manufacturing to commence production and coordinating production schedules.

Prepare detailed production schedules in accordance with required volumes, plant capacity and materials availability.

Report visualize the progress and problem of production situation and quickly adapt in an ever changing for machine processing and plan.

Monitor and control operations and ensure smooth operations of routing, standard time, process constraints and other

Receive new product information handover, maintain and improve to ensure implement smoothing operation

Provide feedback and suggestion to internal key stakeholder for improvement in future

Monitor process validations to ensure manufacturing processes such as Routing, standard time, process constraints, others to align with procedures to maintain high standards of manufacturing operations

Generate relevant document for standard documents of work instruction, support documents and work flow documents

Lead to analyse every concern issue and create short term action that flexible and efficient and find the long-term action to solve or to prevent every defect.

Ensure all company’s asset are properly maintained and well looked after within responsible area.
Implement new technology

Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.

Co-developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

Participate in new technology development processes (Co-develop) and provide insightful information to development team.

Support resources for validation/testing and making final decision for implementing new alternative manufacturing initiative to ensure effective transition into mass production.

Support company strategy.

Collabrolate with stakeholder for co-develop alternative process to achieve the target.
People management

Develop and supervise subordinates to follow the work instruction strictly.

Supervise subordinates to ensure that all production tasks are performed and all machines and equipment operated with safely.

Train new workers in the organization's operating procedures and standards.
