Process Improvement:
- Develop new production processes and troubleshoot issues to enhance productivity, quality, and consistency.
- Analyze and optimize existing processes, and generate documentation for procedures and workflows.
- Recommend alternative manufacturing solutions and collaborate on new product development.
Maintain Day-to-Day Activities:
- Maintain and repair plastic injection molds, stamping dies, and other equipment to meet schedules and targets.
- Ensure tools and processes meet quality standards and support production goals.
- Respond quickly to process issues and equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Initiate and Implement New Processes or Technologies:
- Develop innovative engineering solutions and implement new technologies to increase efficiency and capacity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on new manufacturing methods and equipment.
- Document new processes and support spare part inventory planning and budget
Supervisor Team Development:
- Lead and mentor technicians, prioritize tasks, and ensure maintenance of equipment.
- Monitor and enhance process efficiency to support productivity and delivery.
We love that you are…
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Tooling, Mold, Industrial or related)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process improvement, production engineering, or a related field, preferably in the automotive or electronics industry
- Hands-on experience with plastic injection molding, stamping, and other relevant manufacturing processes
- Strong understanding of best practices in manufacturing and production processes
- Proficiency in analyzing product specifications, parts drawings, and engineering data
- Ability to develop and optimize production processes, and troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively
- Knowledge of new technology development and implementation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions
- Proficient in English communication
