Specialist, Tooling Engineer (BB)

• • Design tooling for developing and mass production phase for further testing.
  • Participate in conceptual and tool design.
  • Participate in tool fabrication and revising to meet target in both quality and safety.
  • Initiate and provide support to those improvement projects for tool and jigs and fixtures design per requested.
  • Validate drawing or concept designed tooling before developing a prototype for further testing.
  • Apply knowledge to create a common jig, tool and fixtures much as possible to reduce quantity and make it simpler.

Utilize Machine operating and Software operating experience. 

• • Keep updating technical and tooling design knowledge in Design Software to ensure data are storage properly and safely, for future use as reference.
  • Keep the workplaces and machine and equipment in good function to consistently meet safety requirements

Possess collaboration.

• • Support the requester in providing comments and suggestions to improve the system and tool design.
  • Fulfilled additional responsibilities and took on accountability as specified or assigned, including cooperatively, tools, jigs, and fixtures for an improvement project and Mass production.
     

Require

• Graduated Diploma or higher in mechanical/industrial engineering or technology or related field.
• 3 - 5 years’ experience as a tooling engineer, manufacturing engineer, and process engineer in the manufacturing industry.
• Understanding and designing tools, jigs, and fixtures in the manufacturing process.
• Effective communication with a Can-Do attitude
• Good at CAD/CAM (Solidwork, ZW3D, Auto CAD)
• Good command of English
• Basic knowledge of tool manufacturing process.
