Specialist, Product Engineer (Technical Projects)

Main Propose :

Contributing to the development and improvement of jewelry products involves leveraging technical expertise and creativity to transform design concepts into feasible, high-quality pieces. The engineer plays a vital role in selecting suitable materials, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring that products meet both quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key accountabilities :

• Support project execution in collaboration with the manager, ensuring alignment with timelines, objectives, and resource planning.
• Initiate and scout innovative ideas for new product development, focusing on identifying opportunities that drive creativity, functionality, and market relevance.
• Brief the cross-functional team on new design concepts and guidelines, and provide estimated product specifications to support development and alignment.
• Managing, monitoring and follow up on each project to achieve the plan.
• Facilitating communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
• Update and report project progress directly to the manager, ensuring transparency and alignment on key milestones and deliverables.
• Package handover the project to NPD or relevant team.
• Optimize design and technique of the products to achieve the target cost and find a solution in terms of product design to reduce costs when they exceed the target.
• Drive the development and implementation of alternative components to enhance key manufacturing success factors especially hour contribution rate from alternative parts.
