Specialist, Process Engineer FE (BB)

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing production processes to identify opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement, ensuring long-term solutions and safe manufacturing systems.

  • Develop and design efficient and effective manufacturing processes that meet product specifications and quality standards.

  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship and consistent product quality.

  • Identify and resolve issues related to the manufacturing process (including RCI/RMA) through root cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies to enhance process efficiency and integrate innovative solutions—such as automation—into existing processes where applicable.

  • Maintain quality controls to ensure precision and efficiency when introducing new technologies or innovations in the production process.

  • Collaborate with materials specialists to evaluate, select, and test materials used in jewelry production, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

  • Support special projects, including working with vendors and internal teams to develop cost-effective solutions for new supply materials, second-source materials, and equipment prior to implementation.

  • Proactively identify improvement areas and develop strategies for continuous enhancement in productivity, lead time, FROT, cost reduction, and waste minimization.

  • Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in process engineering to strengthen production performance.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing improvement, or production system optimization, preferably in the jewelry, electronics, or precision manufacturing industry.

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma principles.

  • Hands-on experience with process design, automation, and efficiency improvement tools.

  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, or other engineering software is an advantage.

  • Good command of English (both written and spoken).

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
