1. Support Alternative Production, Engineering, and Maintenance
- Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and analyze data to identify root causes, brainstorm solutions with cross-functional teams, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Create tracking systems for maintenance inventory to maintain optimum spare parts stock levels.
- Design workflows and data collection forms for production and maintenance tracking.
- Lead waste reduction and improve alternative production processes to achieve maximum efficiency and smooth operations.
2. Implement New Technology
- Support the development of new technology and provide valuable insights to the development team.
- Design workflows and layouts to optimize production efficiency.
- Develop data tracking and collection systems to monitor production performance.
- Analyze data to support negotiations with customers on product quality, specifications, and requirements.
- Define and implement problem-solving workflows, including root cause identification and corrective/preventive actions for production abnormalities.
- Drive throughput improvements by enhancing productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Design standardized processes, ergonomic layouts, and optimized job setups to boost efficiency.
- Lead improvement projects to reduce waste, improve quality, and achieve energy savings, cost reduction, and process efficiency.
- Generate and maintain relevant systems such as BOM, Routing, ECRN, CMC, X-code, and R-code.
3. Implement New Processes or Machines
- Lead and support project management initiatives in the alternative department.
- Coordinate and communicate with partners and agencies to ensure successful project implementation.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and seek advice as needed.
- Design material flows based on Lean principles for new machine implementation.
- Develop and maintain relevant systems for new technology, including BOM, Routing, ECRN, CMC, X-code, and R-code.
We love that you are…
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Strong background in machine-based operations and understanding of OEE tracking and defect monitoring.
- Knowledge of machines and die maintenance.
- Proven critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and persuade effectively.
- Ability to lead and manage PMO, including both team support and leadership.
- Experience in workflow design, production efficiency analysis, and implementation of Lean principles.
