The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or a related field and a deep understanding of casting processes and material properties.   • Implement best practices in casting to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
  • Metallurgical Engineering & Material Science:
  • Utilize metallurgical principles to analyze and improve material properties.
  • Conduct material tests and analyses to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Develop and implement processes to enhance the performance and durability of cast products.
  • Customer Centricity: Support the manager in delivering the best of PANDORA by innovating, adopting new manufacturing techniques, and staying true to design objectives.
  • Financial Results: Maintain low production costs, ensure on-time delivery, and achieve high production quality.
  • Collaboration: Engage openly with stakeholders for critical activities, take responsibility, and ensure effective collaboration across all functions.
  • Create and Execute Projects: Deliver Plant/Company KPIs (Productivity, Cost, Quality, FROT, Lead Time) through effective project creation and execution.
  • New Initiatives and Tooling: Develop new processes and tools to meet Plant/Company KPIs.
  • Coordination: Work with key personnel from each section to support and participate in project activities.
  • Project Management and Budget Control: Manage and control the budget of each project.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Coordinate with a diverse range of people to achieve targets.
  • Monitoring and Auditing: Monitor and audit processes and equipment, recommending continuous improvements to maximize process capability.
  • Vendor and Resource Collaboration: Collaborate with vendors and internal resources to determine product specifications and arrange for the purchase and installation of equipment, materials, or parts for new products.
  • Innovation and Efficiency: Investigate, recommend, and justify new technologies, manufacturing methods, and equipment to meet competitive business needs and improve efficiency.
  • Layout and Workflow Optimization: Create and sustain optimized layouts and workflows to expand capacity and capability.
  • Six Sigma Projects: Perform Six Sigma projects.
  • Process FMEA: Work with the team to conduct process FMEA.
  • Process Enhancement: Collaborate with the team to enhance current process capability.
  • Procedure and Control Definition: Create and define new working procedures and key process controls.

 

We love that you are…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 Year experience in Continuous Improvement, process Engineering.
  • Experience in casting process or Metallurgical engineering is a plus.
  • Green belt verify is preferred.
  • Project management and Budget control.
  • Good problem solving, analytical thinking and project management.
  • Good coordination and communication skill.
  • Good English communication and writing.
  • Flexible schedule that would include weekends and night shift as of the critical situation of production conditions or as required by circumstance

You will be part of a team of Production Engineer and report to the Senior Manager, Product Engineer - BU1/PM(Lamphun), who also oversees overall plant processes and improvement.
