Imagine being responsible for lead and keep developing our Responsible Sourcing Programme for the world’s largest jewellery brand. If you love leading local sourcing strategy, then you might be our next senior manager for Responsible Sourcing Crafting & Supply at Pandora Crafting & Supply.

The position will be anchored in the Responsible Sourcing team (4 people) and covering around 100 material suppliers and up to ~700 indirect ones and covering sustainability for both social and environmental aspects.

As a Senior Manager, Responsible Sourcing Programme lead, you will focus on ensuring compliance of our requirements into operations (audit) and supplier development activities, as well as keep improving our programme based on either risk related to our supply chain or benchmark in best practices. This will require close collaboration with PANDORA’s suppliers, the internal procurement colleagues as well as the Global Office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Beside ensuring compliance of our programme, you act as a key partner to our supplier, working closely with them to develop their capability to meet our requirements. Identifying main gap or risks and support development of solution for our entire supply chain (training, capability building, …) while balancing suppliers availability and priority as well as Pandora’s other functions needs (quality, procurement, innovation…).

You need a strong stakeholder management, communication skills and ability to manage complex situations. Frequent travel will be required to visit suppliers.

  • Develop and implement responsible sourcing strategies: Formulate comprehensive strategies that align with the company’s sustainability targets &goals and regulatory requirements. Benchmark and propose innovation, building programme next steps while coordinating overall suppliers request for sustainability.
  • Supplier management: Assess and select suppliers based on their adherence to ethical, environmental, and social standards and ensure audit compliance and tailored improvement plan. Develop strong partnership and trust.
  • Ensure compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with these policies across the supply chain.
  • Identify and mitigate risks: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them including training, capability programme.
  • Monitor and report on performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Communication & leadership: Manage & be an inspiring leader for the team of 3 direct reports and demonstrate great stakeholders management internally and externally.

We love that you are…

  • Strong business skills within sustainable supply chain management and procurement processes, preferably with metals supply chain, sustainability or CSR with at least 3-5 years of experience from a similar role.
  • Master in Management, supply chain, procurement, Engineering or similar educational background with expertise in sustainability, environmentalism or CSR.
  • Background in international manufacturing and have experience with developing and managing a Procurement Programme including the communication hereof to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven record in setting, implementing and advising in representation of Procurement Programmes through activities such as policy development and policy deployment.
  • Strong understanding of the audit and compliance frameworks around Responsible Sourcing and/or Procurement Programmes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communicative skills including a strong English proficiency, in addition you have well-developed presentation skills both verbal and written (PowerPoint).
  • Strong cultural understanding and genuine interest in working with different cultures, open to innovation, learning and can do attitude.
  • Self-motivated and mature, entrepreneurial, self-started and highly collaborative mindset
