Responsibilities;

Main purpose:

Best-in-class: Strengthen and mature our human rights and responsible sourcing programmes across our own production facilities and in our supply chain to become a leader in the jewellery industry
Customer centricity: Create confidence in customer purchases by ensuring all products sold are crafted by a responsibly managed workforce and supply chain
Collaborative: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align, continuously develop and implement our human rights and responsible sourcing programmes

Our team: The Sustainability Crafting and & Supply team is based in Bangkok, Thailand, and sits within the Supply Chain function. In your role as the Senior Manager, Human Rights, you will directly report to the Director Sustainability Crafting & Supply

Key Objectives:

  • Implement robust social initiatives and develop critical working partnerships across the business and with external stakeholders to mitigate risk and accelerate positive impact for all related parties
  • Develop employees engagement & communication

Key Duties:

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert on human rights and responsible sourcing to embed human rights due diligence and management practices at the crafting and supply chain level, aligning closely with the Corporate Sustainability strategy and objectives
  • Support Pandora’s human rights programme to ensure robust implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights within the crafting and supply chain level
  • Collaborate closely with Compliance, Human Resources, Corporate Sustainability and Legal teams to stay abreast of existing and forthcoming legislation relating to human rights
  • Manage implementation of Pandora’s human rights policy via ongoing due diligence, grievance mechanisms and remedy, stakeholder engagement, and human rights reporting
  • Ensure implementation of responsible sourcing policies in supplier selection and overall sourcing decision-making
  • Work directly with the Responsible Sourcing team to manage high-risk suppliers and crisis management
  • Assist annual reviews by Internal Audit on the Responsible Sourcing programme’s integrity from a process, controls, and governance standpoint. 

 

Qualifications;

  • Masters’ degree or relevant equivalent experience in Human Resource Management, Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability International Human Rights Law or other relevant disciplines preferred
  • Relevant qualifications in compliance and social governance
  • 7+ years of relevant experience managing corporate supply chain sustainability, business, and human rights topics including ongoing due diligence either in consulting or in-house roles
  • Demonstrated success implementing strategy,  and achieving concrete results
  • Demonstrated success as a project manager, including process formalisation and Operationalisation
  • Solid grasp of relevant human rights and labour standards and human resource management systems
  • Demonstrated experience working with international teams
  • Ability to develop strong and collaborative working relationships
  • Professional proficiency in English and Thai, both in understanding, speaking and writing
  • Experience working in a manufacturing setting or embedding programmes with suppliers preferred
  • Experience working in the fast-moving consumer goods industry
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders such as suppliers, NGOs, and other organisations relevant to complex supply chains, ideally in the consumer products/jewellery industry (e.g. RJC, LBMA, IRMA, RMI, OECD, BSR etc.)
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude combined with an ability to work strategically and seize opportunities

  • Advanced and full professional English and Thai proficiency.
