Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute continuous improvement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Identify and drive the implementation of process improvement projects across manufacturing operations.
- Ensure measurable improvements in productivity, waste reduction, and time efficiency.
- Build continuous improvement capabilities within teams by training and mentoring employees on Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other methodologies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (production, quality, supply chain) to ensure that improvement initiatives are sustainable.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
- Monitor and report on lead and lag measures for all improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with C&S missions.
- Provide data-driven insights to senior leadership on the impact of implemented projects.
- Lead and manage continuous improvement projects, from scoping and design to implementation and review.
- Conduct regular Kaizen workshops to engage employees in process improvement.
- Track project progress, measure performance impact, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure the successful integration of new processes into daily operations.
- Lead change management efforts, ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and informed.
- Report directly to C&SQ VP on the progress of improvement initiatives and key achievements.
Key Requirements:
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt.
- Kaizen facilitator certification or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in continuous improvement.
- Proven success in implementing Lean Six Sigma and/or Kaizen in a manufacturing environment, preferably in high-mix, high-volume industries such as jewelry.
- Hands-on experience in managing cross-functional teams to deliver cost savings and productivity improvements.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in using statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and other process optimization tools.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring teams and driving cultural change.
