Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Oversee month end closing and deliver financial reporting pack to all stakeholders.

Best-in-class manufacturing: Oversee and deliver all financial procedures, processes, controls, and insights to support the set-up of a faster and more agile manufacturing functionality.
Collaboration: Openly engage stakeholders for critical activities. Take accountability and ensure effective collaboration with all shared services functions.
People: Improve and build technical and soft skill toward local talent.

Key Objectives:

  • Create financial report and analysis for group and local in timeliness and accuracy

Key Duties:

  • Take the lead of month end closing process and oversee accounting operations and timeliness of financial results.
  • Be Business Lead – Accounting and Financial data Stewart to control and manage the change and set up financial dimension in AX2012 / SAP.
  • Maintain and update Chart of Account.
  • Ensure local financial reporting in compliance with Accounting standards and Regulations and Group financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and Group Accounting Policy.
  • Review intercompany balance and transaction before submitting to Group.
  • Review all accrual in Current and Operation layer and reconciliation.
  • Review and approve all direct journal voucher post in HFM.
  • Review HFM upload data for month end closing.
  • Review monthly reconciliation between AX2012 / SAP and HFM.
  • Review Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss commentary.
  • Review quarterly contingent liabilities and subsequent event.
  • Review yearly financial package and report to group finance monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • Manage year-end audit with auditors and co-ordinate across functions.
  • Review yearly local statutory submit to MOC.
  • Drive change and process efficiency toward all related parties

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or higher level,
  • Over 7-10 years experiences in Accounting and related area,
  • Most preferred CPD/CPA license and Auditor background,
  • Good skill to drive the solution to finance operation problems,
  • Abel demonstrate ability to make decisions, making the right trade-offs,
  • Effectively plan and efficiently deliver work while handling with work complexity and people variety,
  • Is an inspirational leader; practices genuine humility and places the team above their own interests,
  • Is self-motivated and hungry enough to learn and work hard,
  • Ability to lead, manage, motivate, and run own team of future leaders,
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; interact effectively with the organization
  • Good computer skill to Microsoft office suite (Ms Excel, Word, Power Point), and HFM 
  • Good command in Speaking and writing English,
  • Good in presentation and detail-oriented.
