Officer, Supplier Quality Engineering

Job Description

• Responsible for reviewing, tracks technical drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards and specifications as well as collaborates with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to identify and verify accuracy, adherence to engineering standards, and alignment with product specifications.
• Lead the development of new inspection devices, instruments, techniques, inspection standard (article requirements checklist) including in reporting, track progress, gather inputs, and update acceptability criteria to meet evolving needs as well as ensure that all can be efficiently and consider production process and scalability.
• Assist in the end-to-end implementation of the PSW process including OEM/ODM approval for new product development and evolving needs.
• Prepare and maintain PSW, SQ documentation, including Quality Instructions(QI), Control Plans and Work Instructions, others in accordance with Pandora requirements as well as register in the document control system (EQMS).
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely completion of PSW, OEM/ODM approval milestones and deliverables.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding process readiness as PSW, OEM/ODM approval requirements, document reviews, and feedback resolution.
• Assist in preparation for internal and external (suppliers) audits, and ensure PSW, OEM/ODM approval process readiness for new products cycle or any launch products -related documentation is audit-ready at all times.
• Support root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives using quality tools like 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone Analysis to address quality issues.
• Support training and awareness activities related to Supplier Quality (SQ) tools and procedures within suppliers organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set up and update quality acceptance criteria during the development phase.
• Work assignment from the supervisor and management level

Qualification

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree or above, in engineering/science or related field.
• A minimum  1 years’ experience on Supplier Quality/Incoming Quality Control/Development task (APQP) or related
• Understands and interprets mechanical drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Is self-motivated and hungry enough to work hard; willing to change
• Experience in Quality System and Quality Control process
• Understands of quality standards required in the Jewelry industry
• Understands in raw material process and apply quality system to supplier 
• Strong and detailed technical knowledge in Product Development process
• Strong ability to lead, motivate and facilitate group
• Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, LAR, Gage R&R and Process capability study
• MS office, Minitab, Good command in English
