Manager, Technical Jewellery Designer

Working with Global Design

• Use new and existing materials, techniques, and production capabilities – interpreting these into new product concepts as practical examples for the Global Design team’s awareness and inspiration.
• Receive input, requests, open briefs or mood boards from Global Design and translate it to beautiful products.
• Stay connected with Creative Sourcing, understand what they are searching the market for and help provide partially or fully in-house solutions.
   

Supporting Innovation & Product Development

• Be a resource within Product Development team to lend suggestions and solutions, turning technical product challenges into successful products.
• Work collaboratively with Product Engineering on new “complex product” projects.
• Stay connected with team members researching new materials and processes – identify opportunities and product ideas to showcase these new capabilities. 
   

Exploration

• Connect with material suppliers and collaborate on material design solutions that are cost effective based on their production capabilities.
• Maintain a strong understanding of current in-house production capabilities.

Qualification

• More than 5 years of experience in a jewelry development role
• Experience working with jewelry manufacturing
• Prefer engineering background and able to understand and interpret a creative vision
• Proficiency in Both Thai and English
• Design thinking from a producibility standpoint
• Collaboration and Coordination across a large team, with proactive engagement
• Flexible and cultural adaptive
