Strategy and Insights

  • Conduct extensive market research, benchmarking and business analysis to gain insights on the overall macro economic situation, industry trends, consumer behaviors and emerging technologies for strategy formulation and development
  • Analyze C&S information (e.g., performance, forecast) as welll as overall competitive landscape of the jewelry industry to assess and identify potential threats or opportunities
  • Support the development of C&S’s strategy, strategic goals and strategic initiatives
  • Assist cross-functional workshops with C&S leadership team (N-2 and above) to formulate new strategy and ideate C&S strategic initiatives and functional initiatives to deliver the strategies as well as improve the efficiency and effectiveness of C&S operations
  • Support strategic projects feasibility studies including high level end-to-end value chain impact assessment, in collaboration with global stakeholders
  • Develop detailed project charters for newly formulated strategic initiatives with clear objectives, scope, plan, deliverables and milestones as well as define performance indicators to track the progress & success of strategic initiatives

 

Strategy Analysis and Update

    • Gather data, feedback and insights from various C&S stakeholders to prepare strategy update  presentations and reports for C&S Management
    • Support strategic decision making process by researching, interviewing, data gathering and analyzing the information to formulate scenrios and recommendations
    • Develop compelling, informative and visually appealing presentations or reports to communicate of C&S strategy status and progress highlighting key achievements, milestones, and risks findings, and future directions to various stakeholders, including Pandora ELT and Board of Directors

 

Strategy Deployment

  • Support Crafting & Supply Strategy Deployment Sessions with C&S Leadership team as well as Functional Leadership teams to communicate C&S Strategy, Strategic Initiatives as well as other key information required to support strategy execution
  • Facilitate workshops and other strategy communications to deploy C&S strategy to C&S audiences

 

Strategic Initiatives Portfolio Management

  • Support Crafting & Supply Strategic Initiative Review process (SIR) by gathering information from related parties as well as analyze the information to share insight and improvement ideas to the team
  • Follow up with strategic initiative owners to provide information and insight for Crafting & Supply monthly Strategic Initiative Review report
  • Support strategic and functional initiative owners in analyzing and identify the initiative’s outcomes/benefits (short-medium-long term), validate assumtpions as well as plan budget/resources required to deliver the expected outcomes
  • Support communications and change management related to SIR process
  • Facilitate project management training sessions across C&S organization to build project management capability

 

Strategic Initiative Management

  • Be a subject matter expert (SME) in all cross-functional areas related of his/her strategic initiative to effectively drive and deliver the strategic initiatives
  • Develop detailed strategic initiative charter, including objectives, scope, expected outcomes, timelines, key milestones, resource allocation, inter-dependencies, risk & mitigation as well as support required 
  • Analyze and develop the business case for strategic initiatives with sound key assumptions to get approval from C&S Management Team by working closely with Business Controller and other related functions
  • Ensure clarity and coordination in resource allocation and roles/responsibilities setup for strategic initiatives
  • Work cross-functionally to execute strategic initiatives ensuring they progress as plan to deliver the desired objectives & outcomes on time and within budget.
  • Lead strategic initiative execution
  • Track initiative process, actual cost as well as the outcomes against the plan as well as analyze and identify gaps/improvement opportunities
  • Monitor adoption of project outcomes after handover to business functions

 

Crafting & Supply Strategic Communication 

  • Draft any communications on behalf of the CSO for strategic events including Global Townhall and Executive Visits (BOD, ELT, SLT) by coordinating cross-functionally to ensure consistency, accuracy and confidentiality of the information
  • Lead in creating engaging presentations or visual aids for all CSO strategic communication to ensure effective delivery of key messages to key stakeholders
  • Gather relevant data and information from all related functions to prepare CSO reports to CEO & Global stakeholders including updates on C&S performance, key initiatives, and other key events
  • Organize and facilitate C&S townhall meetings, including venue selection, scheduling, and logistics in collaboration with HR Communication and Facility Management Teams
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather relevant updates and information for strategic event presentation (e.g., C&S Townhall, Strategy Deployment)

 

Crafting & Supply Management Meeting Facilitation

  • Facilitate key C&S management meetings (e.g., Weekly VP Operation Meeting) by prepare meeting agenda and presentation materials in collaboration with the CSO and other operation VPs
  • Summarize the management meeting to capture the decisions, agreements/alignments and follow-up items to ensure effective communication and clear understanding across all participants
  • Analyze and identify opportunities for continuous improvement on C&S Management meetings to improve meeting efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintain C&S Management Calendar including executive visits, key meetings and other important events

 

Executive Visit Management

  • Lead executive visits  to Crafting & Supply for Global Senior Leadership Team and above by planning, organizing and coordinating all aspects of of the event including detailed agenda, charter of each visit section, general adminstration (transportation & accommodations) as well as meeting schedules.
  • Liaise with external partners, such as event organizer, media-service provider, suppliers or Global stakeholders, to coordinate meetings, activities or events during executive visits.
  • Ensure that all arrangements align with CSO's and C&S Management Team’s schedules and priorities
