Manager, Quality Surveillance & Improvement (AAA)

Key Accountabilities:

1) Key Objectives

  • Be a quality gatekeeper for mass production, including any changes/updates in manufacturing and quality parameters.
  • Coordinate with PEx and Production to ensure the effectiveness of Fast Response and ECR in rectifying quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Drive end-to-end QA/QC and continuous improvement from the development phase until mass production.
  • Leverage best practices/learnings from other production units for further quality improvement.

2) Key Duties

  • Translate company goals into tangible actions/metrics for Product Quality.
  • Lead and ensure Fast Response is effective in response to quality issues; endorse root cause analysis and drive the solution implementation, also ensure ECR is implemented effectively.
  • Work with AQ/PEx/Production to ensure closed-loop communication between mass production, development, and design phases to incorporate best practices and learnings into new product design and quality standard setting.
  • Endorse continuous improvement initiatives from PEx on quality aspects.
  • Drive the improvement of Work Instructions, procedures, and process control to further reduce quality issues via process and product audits, in collaboration with the relevant team.
  • Coordinate cross-functional audits to support production in quality awareness.
  • Manage the calibration team to ensure all measuring devices and standard tooling are calibrated in a timely manner.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or any related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience leading in quality processes for manufacturing or Quality Management in a related field.
  • Ability to find solutions to complex business problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to make tough decisions and the right trade-offs.
  • Effective planning and efficient delivery of exceptional work while handling both volume and complexity.
  • Inspirational leadership with genuine humility, prioritizing the team above personal interests.
  • Self-motivated and driven to work hard, willing to adapt.
  • Skilled in working with others, including leading, managing, motivating, and running one's team of future leaders.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, effectively interacting with the organization.
  • Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office, E-mail, Internet, Dynamic AX, SAP.
  • Fluent in English and excellent in both verbal and written communication.
  • Good personality and communication skills to liaise with others.
