Responsibilities;

Key objectives:

Oversee daily operations for the production unit.
Drive production performance across the plating operation to ensure product/ project are delivered on cost, time and quality.
Ensure resources are allocated sufficiently and optimally to execute activitiess within production.
Support and implement continuous improvement initaitives to drive down production cost, improve quality and productivity, increase OEE and FROT.
Initiate and support continuous improvement activities of the local production excellence team in the area of electroplating.
Organize and conduct regular electroplating trainings for all technical departments within the plant.

Key duties:

Support implementation and execution of production strategic/ productivity roadmap, and relevant company strategies/ initiatives.
Ensure manufactruing processs, parameters, and procedures are accurate and strickly followed to maintaint the high standard of operations.
Manage shop-floor operation and ensure high quality product, on-time delivery and lowest possible cost, including provide supports the night shift as necessary.
Oversee production performance against targets; provide insight and recommendation, and ensure corrective actions are taken in timely manner.
Colloborate with Quality, FM and PEx team to investigate and rectify quality issues and other technical problems in a timely manner.
Support the innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the production; be a gate-keeper for commissioning activities and handover processes.

Qualifications;

Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, other types of engineering or related field and/or Sound Experience and/or knowledge in Electroplating.
Dynamic environment of production requires attention and close monitoring of all processes, as of Manager Production Plating is supposed to visit shop floor on daily basis to meet up with team, visualize situation and communicate directly to all target workgroups.
Fluctuation of daily workload and product complexity requires frequent adjustment of manpower allocation.
Problem solving and decision making under limited timeframe and resources.
Analysis of defect and scrap generation in area of responsibility.
Flexible work schedule that can include weekends and night shifts depending on criticality of the production conditions or as required by other circumstances.
Good skill to MS Office, AX System.
Good command in English.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
