Manager, Maintenance (BB)

  • Key objectives:
  • Provide plants with sufficient machine, HVAC, and utility engineering capabilities to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
  • Ensure effective and optimal operations of machines, utilities, and other general facilities within production plants.
  •    Key duties:
  • Ensure smooth operations of machines, equipment, utilities, facilities, and plating line (only for BB) through maintenance (CM/PM) in collaboration with production.
  • Execute in accordance to standard operating procedures for work orders; update procedures for future reference.
  • Set priorities and ensure adherence for machines & utilities maintenance work order scheduling.
  • Align maintenance plan with production schedule.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory for tools, spare parts, equipment, and supplies; coordinate with center Maintenance Development and procurement.
  • Contact center maintenance development when machine / utility suppliers are required.
  • Assess and mitigate risked involved in Production, PEx, FM activities & construction projects.
  •    Strategy:
  • Understand and align maintenance goals with the overall business strategy.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure maintenance objectives support the company's mission and vision.
  • Proactive vs. Reactive Maintenance:
  • Shift from reactive to proactive maintenance practices.
  • Emphasize preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Technology Integration:
  • Leverage technology, such as computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and IoT devices, to enhance maintenance efficiency.
  • Implement data analytics for predictive maintenance and performance monitoring.
  • Risk Management:
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential maintenance-related risks.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
  • Cost Optimization:
  • Develop cost-effective maintenance strategies without compromising quality and safety.
  • Implement a life-cycle cost analysis to guide decision-making on asset investments and replacements.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
  • Encourage feedback and suggestions for process optimization from team members.
  • Training and Skill Development:
  • Invest in the training and development of maintenance staff.
  • Ensure that the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
  • Environmental Sustainability:
  • Integrate sustainable practices into maintenance operations.
  • Explore and implement eco-friendly maintenance solutions to align with corporate sustainability goals.
  • Performance Metrics:
  • Establish and regularly review key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance activities.
  • Use metrics to measure the effectiveness of maintenance strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Foster collaboration between maintenance and other departments.
  • Maintain open communication channels to address issues promptly and share insights across teams.
  • Compliance and Safety:
