Senior Manager, PMO Innovation

Job Responsibilities:
- Strategic Project Leadership: Define, establish, and manage the timeline for innovation projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy.
- Evaluate and input on innovation pipeline prioritization
- Evaluate and input on innovation project timeline and feasibility based on innovation project complexity and new capability assessment
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the central liaison between Innovation, Product Development, marketing, finance, operations, and manufacturing to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Technical & Business Integration: Guide technical teams in developing solutions that seamlessly link consumer needs, business goals, and production capabilities. Good understanding of the design language to be able to translate into technical requirements to propose a viable option
- Project Governance & Risk Management: Establish clear governance structures, manage risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies. Support innovation pilot execution and change management
- Proof-of-Concept & Pilot Execution: Supervise concept validation, piloting phases, and business case development to ensure scalability.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders to maintain alignment and drive decision-making at critical project milestones. Manage the teams to work with iterative mindset and agile approach to work on projects
- Transition to Mass Production: Facilitate a smooth transition from innovation to commercialization, ensuring operational efficiency and market readiness. Manage pilot initiatives and coordinate with Pre-production/ Production team to test and refine innovation projects
Job Requirements:
- Engineering, Business Administration, Innovation Management, or related fields
- Proven experience in PMO or project management within innovation-driven industries.
- Strong background in technical product development, business strategy, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive projects through complex organizational dynamics.
- Expertise in Agile, Stage-Gate, or other innovation frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Materials Science, Innovation Management, Business Administration, or related fields
- Proven experience in PMO or project management within innovation-driven industries
- Strong technical background in product development, business strategy, and manufacturing processes
- Expertise in Agile, Stage-Gate, or other innovation frameworks
- Exceptional project management skills with a track record of leading complex innovation projects
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Manufacturing
- Strategic thinking with the ability to connect technical solutions to consumer needs and business goals
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in ambiguous and dynamic environments
- High adaptability and resilience to manage shifting project dynamics
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence key decision-makers
- Innovation-driven mindset with creativity to develop and evaluate new ideas while ensuring feasibility
