Manager, Drop Management

This role will coordinate with Product Development team both in HQ and Thailand to plan and manage end-to-end process for Innovation & Product Development Division and related in manufacturing, oversee and manage new product development cost, deliver quality products to customers with low RMA and high customer NPS, manage and provide input on capacity allocation between GBU, product segments and innovation pipeline and ensuring product could move forward with feasible option / cost.


  • Ensure smooth execution of new product development in line with GBU plan and launch dates.
  • Reduce process lead time in Innovation & Product Development Division where possible.
  • Develop fast track process with agreed lead time.
  • Coordinate and align with HQ regarding DV changes (e.g. SKU number changes, core material changes).
  • Coordinate with relevant functions to determine product developmental segmentation.
  • Communicate manufacturing and personnel constraints to GBU team for cost-benefit analysis.
  • Translate manufacturing capabilities to HQ GBU prior to the design phase.
  • Communicate drop plan and DV load within each segment to Pre-production, Innovation and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Raise red flag, provide feedback of high risk and recommendation.
  • Communicate clear manufacturing limits to HQ design team on development feasibility and associated risks.
  • Ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of prototype samples (red tag) for 'Line Extension' and 'New to Pandora' DVs.
  • Ensure quality approval for all red / yellow / green tag samples.
  • Ensure effective cross-functional communication and share best practices across all departments where relevant.



  • Bachelor to master's degree in Gemology/ Jewellery Management or related field.
  • At least 3 years experiences in jewellery industry or luxury product are preferred.
  • Leadership ability to successfully own product development processes.
  • Highly skilled in planning and using planning software and tools, especially EPDM.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong experience in dealing with business stakeholders - relatability to non-technical business users and technical resources, both globally and locally.
