Main purpose of the role:

E2E milestone keeper: ensure that all stakeholder working following the milestone and managing fast track to be achieving on the proper timeline

product development cost to be aligned with line plan: leading new product development cost in line with budget, increase speed to market, and ensure high new production quality/drive to change design to get effective margin and ensure result able to deliver to next team in time.

Quality: leading quality forum to ensure all new product delivery within quality standard including facilitation cross function to discuss and propose solution for final decision making. Handover knowledge through communication and package happening in precise details and meet expectation for others.

Developing, oversee and drive decision-making on design phase development to become the most feasible (margin, manufacturing capability), driving effective cross-function alignment (E2E)

 

Key accountabilities:

  • Manage cycle & fast track
    • Ensure effective development to meet margin, align across functional teams / propose alternative solutions to resolve design and cost conflict.
    • Assure all milestones are met.
    • Co-work between business units ensuring all requirements of fast track were met, prioritizing related tasks to meet overall delivery.
  • Communicate and collaborate with design development team
    • Drive the product development part of the I&PD.
    • managing timeline by communicating with BKK teams and facilitating interactions with HQ.
    • Communicate and act as a troubleshooter between design and manufacturing.
    • Raise red flag & escalation, provide feedback of high risk and recommendation.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other functions in Thailand.
    • Oversee the end-to-end Product Development process and manufacturing start gate 0 until gate 4
    • Leading and governing Product Development timeline to relevant functions following E2E milestone.
    • prioritizing the appropriate resources are allocated for each cycle.
    • Centralization of collaboration and information from differences cross functional team. Oversee and manage new product development costs.

 

  • Pre-Production & Launch Preparation (gate2 to gate4)
    • Development collaboration with pre-production & production for launch readiness.
    • Involve related team to be ready for mitigation plan & agility through task force (drive product to be launch successfully)
  • E2E alignment across global team.
    • Translate C&S (Crafting & supply) capabilities to HQ for new product launch
    • Supporting information, master plan alignment, prioritizing work and resolve resource conflict.

  • E2E milestone deliver : NPD important milestone 96% deliver. (80% weighted from PD (Product Development) activities | 20% weighted from PPT XF)
  • monitoring SLA within PD capacity: SLA is +/-10% excluded ODM and fast track
  • NPD (New Product Development) cost delivery:  Ensure development options are available in each line plan, achieve all must have DVs (with acceptable from XF)
  • Digital PD strategy execution:  input necessary data to support PLM improvement
