Manager, Advanced Production Planning

- Develop APS standard, Policy, and guideline and approve for change request, including provide technical support and recommendation for system issue
- Drive system performance and usability improvement by coordinating with IT, Production and Scheduling team to determine optimal APS feature and planning parameters to ensure KPI achievement and plan adherence
- Monitor performance variance against KPI target and drive corrective action with key stakeholders (Scheduling, Master Planning, Production, PEx)
- Provide input and resources to support strategic initiatives related to APS CP
- Provide resources and system knowledge for training to APS CP users and related project or system.
- Develop APS standard, policy, guidelines, and parameters to ensure effective and efficient scheduling process and output
- Manage APS execution and performance for smooth operations
- Monitor APS functionality and performance and be the first-tier support for operational issue solving
- Support APS system set up, updates and changes
- Align the setup of new sites, locations, production processes, or master data changes with AX, DCS, SAP S4 Hana, DMC and related systems
- Review and approve test cases and APS functionality tests
- Evaluate impact and recommend changes needed in APS or other system to support business and systems change requirement
- Review scheduling parameter and master data accuracy (e.g. STD accuracy) for Scheduling effectiveness of each production site and collaborate with MDM for correction
- Review system performance and usability and address gaps/improvement opportunities to identify Scheduling and APS improvement initiatives and coordinate with related teams and consultants to find solution and implement
- Discuss performance variance against KPI target with key stakeholders (Scheduling, Master Planning, Production, I&PD, PEx) and ensure corrective actions are taken in timely manner
- Review and approve recommendation or change request related to APS CP to support business requirement/change, Company Strategy and stragic initiative
- Develop scheduling support tools and reports (KPI monitoring, Production tracking) to support scheduling process and cross-functional communication
- Share best practices in scheduling among team members
We love that you are…
- At least 5 years exp in Planning especially in area of production scheduling or capacity planning, at least 3 years in managerial position.
- Hands-On experience in ERP, APS or similar
- Ability to relate cooperatively with internal and external departments.
- Familiar with labour intensive operations where production planning/scheduling rely on multi-skilled manpower
- Familiar with planning/ scheduling for fast changing products, changing product mix/complexity.
- Experience in manufacturing environment (Jewelry experience is preferred).
- Drive the solution to most complex business problems
- Possess the strategic perspective and create sustained results for Pandora (financial, non-financial)
- Demonstrate ability to make hard decisions, making the right trade-offs
- Effectively plan and efficiently deliver exceptional work while handling both volume and complexity
- Is an inspirational leader; practices genuine humility and places the team above their own interests
- Is self-motivated and hungry enough to work hard; willing to change
- Has an ability to lead, manage, motivate, and run own team of talented individuals
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; interact effectively within the organization
- Computer skills: MS Office, ERP Knowledge ex. AX, SAP
- Language: Good communication in English
