MDM and Data Governance Assistant

Key Accountability:

Define standards and manuals 

  • Support implementation of good data governance over the report template, business definition which align with local and group standard, accounting standard, and regulations.

Operate and execute

  • Support implementation / roll out/ and maintenance of the master data governance for PPT
  • Support implementation / roll out/ and maintenance of Data Quality Management focus
  • Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of master data creation and maintenance under agreed scope
  • Support master data organization to perform data entry/data import
  • Perform data validation to ensure completeness, consistency, and logicality of data structure
  • Track the status of the master data creation and maintenance process in collaboration with data owners, data stewards, and data custodian
  • Communicate and escalate issues to line manager as needed
  • Support in projects implementation and roll-out as assigned including project driven out from Global Office 

Drive continuous improvements

  • Stay on top of best practice and trends under own area of response


Pivotal and professional qualifications:

  • At least 1-3 years experience
  • Minimum 1-year experience in ERP system data creation and maintenance or support
  • Background or passionate about data-driven culture through good data governance is an advantage
  • Ability to collaborate across business units with wider group of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated a mindset of data custodian; seeing data as assets, protecting data, and challenging business when governance not follows
  • Experience with AX (ERP) or SAP is a strong advantage
  • Ability to self-explore data using basic SQL query
  • Self-starter and team player able to effectively prioritise activities & requests
  • Good people engagement skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Proficient computer skill to MS Office and AX12/SAP aand SQL Query is plus.
