Logistics & Planning Specialist
Main Purpose of the Role
Provide comprehensive support to the APAC Logistics & Planning Director and the department. This includes setting up, overseeing, and continuously improving dark stores in the APAC region. The role also involves project management support for various logistics teams, managing 3PL relationships, freight and inventory management, and reporting. The goal is to enhance the overall success and performance of the logistics team.
Job Description

Lead the setup of dark stores in the APAC region, leveraging project management tools and processes, engaging relevant stakeholders and 3PL partners, and establishing the required governance for the timely and smooth launch of operations.

Collaborate with internal departments, stakeholders, suppliers, and distribution centers to design shipping processes, ensuring a great experience for our fans and stores.

Oversee 3PL partners and contracts, ensuring deliverable improvements and system enhancements are efficient and operational with minimal risk.

Analyze data and propose operational decisions, assessing and minimizing risks to KPIs, and providing and delivering reports around fulfillment and freight operations.

Monitor warehouse team performance and implement control measures to ensure the integrity of inventory records, minimizing discrepancies and risk.

Support the Logistics & Planning Director in managing financial budgets and proactively identifying cost-saving initiatives.

Conduct root-cause analysis of failures and take corrective actions where necessary.

Support ad-hoc analyses and projects related to logistics and transport.

Maintain awareness of shipping industry and global logistics trends, proactively anticipating problems and recommending solutions.

Ensure compliance with laws and regulations around customs and optimize customs clearance processes.
Qualifications

Educational Background: Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Project Management, or Business Administration.

Experience: 3-5 years in logistics or supply chain coordination, preferably within FMCG or Retail Operations.

Project Management: Proven skills in project roadmap definition, stakeholder alignment, governance definition, and progress tracking.

Organizational & Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent at managing details, solving issues quickly, and staying organized in a fast-paced environment.

Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Logistics Experience: Proven track record in logistics or supply chain coordination.

Customer-Focused: Providing exceptional customer satisfaction through proactive and strategic supply chain solutions.

Technical Proficiency: Experienced with logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
