Main Purpose of the Role
 

This role will report directly to the Operations Excellence Director and will be responsible for identifying improvement areas and “Leading Change Management” throughout  Asia Pacific operations, both for daily operations and for strategic development.

 

One of the foremost priorities will be leading the change management of our internal DC systems, this role will primarily be focused around stakeholder management, facilitation & process management.

 

Scope for “APAC Operations” covers the Thailand DC itself, plus the market clusters served by this main DC and its secondary DC’s covering distribution of jewellery, Point-Of-Sale-Materials & e-commerce of jewellery.
 

Key Objectives
 

The core responsibility of this role is driving and sustaining a continuous improvement Culture within our APAC Operations. 

 

The first key objective will be to ensure a smooth transition between our legacy computer systems to our new computer systems through coordinating with local and global colleagues.

 

In addition, to increase fill rates, decrease unnecessary inventory, decrease carrying costs, decrease lead time to customer, improve accuracy and improve overall operational efficiencies. 

 

Keys to success in realizing these objectives could be :

  • Analysis and visualization of processes.
  • Utilization of Lean and Process Mapping & Analysis methodologies.
  • Support TDC Operations Excellence Director in the identification, tracking and execution of achieving company KPIs and Targets.
  • Assisting the Operations Teams in making decisions based on data-driven analysis.

 

Key Duties

 

  • Identification and evaluation of possible process optimizations.
  • Implementation of process optimization projects.
  • Training and coaching of employees to develop and expand project management, Lean competencies.
  • Creation & management of training materials.
  • Data collection and analysis.
  • Workshop facilitation.
  • Project Management.
  • KPI / Target visualization, control & alerting.
  • Work across other team functions to understand the connection between various stakeholders including clusters, DC and GSC. 
  • Initiate and Manage offsite collaboration visits.
  • Advocating the company values.
  • Be responsible for management to achieve the policy, objectives and goals of quality management, work environment, occupational health and safety management or other systems arranged by the company such as ISO, OHSAS and so on.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Lean Six Sigma, Logistic & Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management, Engineering or related field
  • A minimum 3 years of experience in operations management, project management, or related field
  • Can work independently with high degree of accountability
  • Self Driven
  • Be ambitious and goal oriented & driven by development both personally and professionally.
  • Knowledge of Project feasibility analysis would be a plus 
  • Fast learner 
  • Problem solving skill is needed 
  • Ability to identify the area of improvement in the process and their own skills
  • Ability to research on topics by oneself  
  • Open minded and listen to the other people's feedback  
  • Ability to work within and as a team
  • Proficient in using SAP, AX, WMS(REFLEX), Microsoft Office packages and data analysis tools.
  • Good communication in Thai and English
