Director, Production Engineering (BB)
Imagine being responsible for to lead our production engineering team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes and systems to enhance productivity and efficiency while ensuring product quality. The role will work closely with our product development team ensuring smooth launches of new products in production with the expected costs and quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proven track record of managing complex production operations for the world’s largest jewellery brand. - Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration of production processes.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple engineering projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
- Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement new technologies and equipment to improve production capabilities.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, implementing best practices in quality management.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the production engineering budget, ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic priorities.
- New Product Launches: Ensuring new products introduction are according to the expected timing, cost and quality while overseeing the processes transition from engineering group to productions.
We love that you are…
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field); Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in production engineering or manufacturing management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, systems, and technologies (Industry 4.0 and Automation)
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects effectively.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. (Six Sigma, etc)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in project management software and engineering design tools.
- Strong experience in Lean Manufacturing Philosophy
- Experience in Casting Process
