Digital Engineer

In this newly created role, you will be part of the team shaping of our product domain to ensure Pandora is leveraging technology at the heart of evolving our manufacturing business and delivering growth. You will function as the connector between functional needs and technology ensuring that we are always working on the things that creates value for our business. This also includes delivery of our new Digital Strategy, Crafting & Supply Strategy, and the ambition of creating the SMART factory and Data-driven manufacturing. You will work together with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain teams to establish a new agile delivery engine to cross-functionally realize the strategic ambitions. You will focus on driving the product agenda for the most critical part of the strategy, i.e., shaping and implementing a new ecosystem for MOM (SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud - SAP DMC) capabilities across the plants.

- Provide end-to-end expertise and guidance on developing inbound and outbound interfaces to/from the cloud to On-Premises and Cloud instances of SAP Products and non-SAP Products using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)
- Provide expertise in using various CPI pallet options (integration patterns – message transformations, enricher, splitter, etc.) and experience in SAP BTP Experience in handling security artifacts, encryption, and decryption mechanisms and SSH keys
- Expertise in handling various integration adapters in SAP CPI (SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, REST Adapters) to exchange messages between sender and receiver
- Support targeted functional architecture design, roadmap and the complexity estimate conducted with the Solution Architect and SI teams especially with EDI integrations, API management
- Advise on best practices in the operating model for the function in your scope of expertise
- Proactively work with business leaders, process leaders, and working teams to identify technology solutions and integration opportunities to solve business needs
- Perform validation and reconciliation of data conversions like JSON to XML, CSV to XML, etc.
- Explore new SAP CPI applications as a subject matter expert and may be first adopter for emerging SAP Integration methodologies.
- Integrate CPI with SAP Event Mesh or SAP API Management to enable event-driven architecture and centralized API governance
- Build custom reusable artifacts (Value Mappings, Groovy Scripts, XSLT Mappings) to standardize integrations across business units
We love that you are…
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or related fields
- 4+ years of Experience in Software Development
- 2+ years of experience in designing, development, and implementation of integration flows (iFlows) using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)
- Expertise in integration with other manufacturing eco-systems including ERP (SAP S/4HANA), Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
- Good understanding of manufacturing operation flows across materials, information and people and manufacturing KPI’s
- Ability to document business requirements, functional design specification requirements and training materials
- Ability to conduct business blueprint workshops, configuration, user acceptance testing, end-user training
- Strong stakeholder management to ensure a holistic perspective gathered and backing for product backlog / priority ensured
- Independent, initiative-taking, and structured. Ability to ensure progress and commitment to deadlines
- Understanding of agile methods and processes, and capability of supporting agile product teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact, and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt
- Professional SAP certification would be an advantage
- Combination of strategic and analytical insights with a passion for technology.
