Job Description

As a Digital Engineer within Pandora Manufacturing Technology COE team, you will be responsible for design, implement and deliver the functional and technical components of planning, manufacturing solutions using SAP Cloud solutions especially SAP DMCi and SAP cloud solution. You will function as the connector between functional needs and technology ensuring that we are always working on the things that creates value for our business. This also includes delivery of our new Digital Strategy, Crafting & Supply Strategy, and the ambition of creating the SMART factory and Data-driven manufacturing. You will work together with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain teams to establish a new agile delivery engine to cross-functionally realize the strategic ambitions. You will focus on driving the analytics agenda for the most critical part of the strategy, i.e., shaping and implementing a new ecosystem for MOM (SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud - SAP DMC) capabilities across the plants.

Your key accountabilities will be to:

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications on the SAP BTP platform using SAP Cloud Platform tools and technologies such as SAPUI5, Fiori and JavaScript
• Business Requirements Analysis and design Mock-ups based on Business Requirements
•  Develop, test, debug, and implement SAP Fiori applications by working closely with functional and testing teams
• Partner with functional team to understand business requirements and prepare technical design specifications for applications of low to moderate complexity
• Provide advanced problem-solving and technical support, including on-call support for SAP Fiori Applications
• Follow established patterns, framework, and procedures to develop and enhance Fiori Applications
• Develop and maintain SAP BTP extensions and add-ons for existing SAP solutions such as S/4 HANA and custom ERP integration
• Implement application security using SAP BTP services like SAP Cloud Identity, Single Sign-On, and OAuth 2.0
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure the quality of developed applications
• Provide technical documentation for developed applications, including design documents, user guides, and troubleshooting guides
• Advise on best practices in the operating model for the function in your scope of expertise
•  Proactively work with business leaders, process leaders, and working teams to identify technology solutions and integration opportunities to solve business needs especially in analytics area
• Become industry expert in areas of responsibility, while continuing education and knowledge through self-directed learning, user groups, educational materials, training
• Explore new SAP applications as a subject matter expert and may be first adopter for emerging SAP technologies

What is needed to succeed

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BTP platform using SAP Cloud Platform tools and technologies such as SAPUI5, Fiori and JavaScript
• Good understanding of FIORI concept, system architecture, FIORI Launchpad configuration and app integration
• Extensive experience in Java Script, XML, JSON, CSS3, HTML and MVC Development framework
• Experience with SAP API Management and knowledge of API policies (security, proxy etc)
• Experience knowledge on using various adapters (REST, SOAP, and OData) and Cloud Foundry Multitarget applications (MTA)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs
• Good understanding of manufacturing operation flows across materials, information and people and manufacturing KPI’s
• Good understanding of the SAP Activate implementation methodology and agile framework
• Ability to document business requirements, functional design specification requirements and training materials
• Ability to conduct business blueprint workshops, configuration, user acceptance testing, end-user training
• Strong stakeholder management to ensure a holistic perspective gathered and backing for product backlog / priority ensured
• Advanced client-facing skills, including the ability to analyse complex problems, influence and negotiate with customers
• Understanding of agile methods and processes, and capability of supporting agile product teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact, and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt
• Business acumen and politically astute, ability to act with diplomacy and sensitivity to cultural diversity
•  Professional SAP certification would be an advantage
