Imagine being responsible for collaborating with product managers, architects, and other key profiles across the global organisation. You will support business verticals and clusters in maximising the value of our data and driving business change as a result. Your primary focus will be on building and implementing scalable data products on our global data platform, working alongside other talented engineers across the organisation—for the world’s largest jewellery brand. Our journey:
We are on a journey from IaaS based Microsoft solutions to Azure PaaS with use of well-known tools and solutions like ADF, Data Lake, Synapse, Analysis Services and DataBricks. As a Data Engineer you will build high quality data and Data & Analytic products on our Azure Paas data platform.

  • Work closely with your colleagues within a product team to design scalable, efficient and stable products 
  • Work closely with product owners to build and deliver features designed to support PANDORA to drive the business cases and efficiencies within reporting and analytics & AI and other data driven use cases
  • Create and maintain high quality data pipeline architecture
  • Obtain relevant business and system knowledge to convert requirements efficiently to technical design documentation and conceptual data modelling
  • Ingest large, complex data sets, automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, improve data quality, etc.

We love that you are…

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Economics, Information Management, or Statistics
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience with Databricks, ADF, Data Lake, Synapse, T/U-SQL, and SQL Server
  • Proficiency in at least one object-oriented, functional, or scripting language such as PySpark, SQL, or Python
  • Experience with DevOps practices and a strong focus on CI/CD
  • Hands-on experience with relational datasets using SQL
  • Solid knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modelling
  • Proven ability to build and optimise data pipelines, architectures, and datasets
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or other providers
  • Familiarity with streaming data processing or technologies such as C#, JavaScript, or containerisation
  • Passion for data and engineering, with a product-oriented mindset and can-do attitude
  • Strong team player with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Structured, analytical, and results-driven approach to work
  • Confident communicator, able to explain solution designs and tailor messages to different audiences.

 

 

About the Team:
You will be an essential part of the data engineering organization and Pandora’s extended Data & Analytics community. You will work within the data product engineering team in a virtual and agile based organization. As we are a growing team, you will have the chance to influence our culture and working tools and work together with other data engineers, Data Visualization Specialists, architects, scrum masters, product managers and much more from Europe, India and Thailand.
