Job Description
As a Business Process Expert Manager within the Pandora Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) program, you will be responsible for understanding business processes to help drive process and technology innovation. You will work with business stakeholders / SMEs to understand current processes, examine issues, and perform root causes analysis, while also partnering with Technology team on product implementation. You will contribute to business process implementations in MOM systems, train, and support users, identify areas of improvement and develop and promote respective solutions. You will act as the connector between functional domains and ensure that we are always working on the things that creates value for our consumers, employees, and the business. This also includes delivery of our Crafting & Supply Strategy 2026 and the ambition of creating the SMART factory and Data-driven manufacturing.
Your key accountabilities will be to:
- Provide subject matter expertise for MOM (Front End / Finishing / Quality / Production planning & scheduling /Shopfloor control / Warehouse Management) process tracks
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business, namely within Production, Manufacturing Quality, Warehouse Management, Maintenance, Master planning & Scheduling teams to ensure business needs are addressed
- Understand S&OP process, Production planning and detailed scheduling and shopfloor control concept and ensure alignment established between each planning layers – Macro planning, Production scheduling and Shopfloor control
- Identify process improvement opportunities, focus on standardization and challenging existing processes where appropriate in order to meet plant performance – service level such as Fill rate on time, OTIF,…
- Facilitate cross functional / site alignment and understanding of processes related to assigned topics, document the processes in the form of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) like ‘As-Is’ Process mappings and Working Instruction and validate Training Materials
- Evaluate business processes and identify where MOM out-of-the-box functionality can be utilized or where business process changes and / or system development is needed to achieve business objectives
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to increase functional & user efficiency and derive value within PPT's business systems
- Provide full implementation support throughout the MOM program (i.e., business requirements analysis, documentation, testing, training, business readiness as part of go live planning and post go live functional support)
- Work closely with stakeholders and act as a trusted adviser across the business, namely within Production, Supply chain and other teams
- Ensure that the process being implemented is in line with the company’s strategic and operational design and foresee future hurdles and prepare a mitigation strategy
Process & Solution Design
- Participates in workshops – Business processes and reporting, review standard application flow, provide business scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage of processes, data and requirements, clarifications, and elaboration of requirements, user stories, use cases
- Participates in Functional Design Workshops, CRPs, provide inputs and feedback on standard application mapping, process flows and review design documents
- Participates in gap discussions and provides inputs on final solution for gaps, liaises with Programme Management for decisions, options evaluation and business process change implications
Build / Configuration / Testing
- Clarifications on design, provides configuration data, incremental build validation
- Participates in CRPs, provides inputs on data migration strategy and plan
- Participates in System Integration Test (SIT), validates test cases, validation of data migration mock runs, inputs to data cleansing, user roles and responsibilities
- Participates in User Acceptance Test (UAT), end-user training, validation of data migration mock runs
- Support backlog of use cases and partner with multiple internal functions and technology centres to design solutions
Production Transition
- Inputs to production instance configuration user roles and responsibilities
- Perform and assess data reconciliation, Master data setup
- Inputs to cut-over planning and final go-live decision
What is needed to succeed:
- 5+ years of manufacturing industry experience in Production planning & Scheduling and Shopfloor control
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply chain, Logistics, Industrial management, Engineering, or related fields
- In-depth experience in one or more areas: Production planning & Scheduling, Shopfloor control, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing Operations processes - Front End / Finishing / Quality
- Initiate a strong relationship with stakeholders including Production, Supply chain, Master Planning, and Material Management
- Familiar with SAP IBP, APO, PP/DS, MM, WMS, DMC– Resource orchestration or Other Planning & Scheduling and Shopfloor control applications will be advantage
- Knowledge / Experience in ERP applications will be advantage
- Willing to support rollout across multiple sites and locations (Thailand & Vietnam) as required
- Operational business experience, ideally in business process design and implementation
- Ability to evaluates current business processes and propose, test, and implement new processes to improve efficiency and performance
