  • Process Analysis and Design:
    • Analyse existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
    • Design and implement streamlined processes that align with organizational goals, increase quality, and improve production flow.
    • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and workflows.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead and manage business process improvement projects from inception to completion, focusing on manufacturing operations.
    • Develop activity plans, set timelines, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, supply chain, and maintenance, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement:
    • Apply Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements and eliminate waste.
    • Conduct value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and kaizen events to identify and implement process enhancements.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by training and mentoring employees on Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques.
  • Change Management:
    • Work together with Change management team to develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new manufacturing processes and/or new software applications
    • Communicate process changes and improvements to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Provide training and support to employees to facilitate smooth transitions and ensure adherence to new processes and/or new software applications.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with various departments across the business, namely within Production, Manufacturing Quality, Warehouse Management, Maintenance, Supply chain teams to understand their process needs, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including production, quality, and supply chain team, to foster a collaborative approach to process improvement.
    • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input, feedback, and buy-in for process improvements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
    • Identify potential risks associated with process changes and develop mitigation plans to address them.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to established processes, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Software Implementation and Integration:
    • Oversee the implementation and integration of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and other execution related systems to optimize manufacturing operations.
    • Collaborate with IT technical team and software vendors to ensure successful deployment of MES and other solutions.
    • Develop and execute training programs for staff on the use of MES and other execution related systems.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to MES and other execution related systems. implementation, providing solutions and continuous improvements.
  • Automation Process Implementation:
    • Identify opportunities for automation within manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
    • Lead the implementation of automation technologies, such as robotic process automation (RPA), to enhance production capabilities.
    • Work with engineering and IT teams to integrate automation solutions seamlessly with existing systems and processes.
  • Strategic Alignment and Leadership:
    • Align process improvement initiatives with the organization's strategic objectives and long-term goals.
    • Provide strategic direction and leadership for process improvement projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
    • Identify emerging trends and technologies in process management and manufacturing to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

 

We love that you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in business process management, process improvement, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, Lean manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing MES systems or other application to support production execution in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge or Experience in IoT and Automation process is a plus
  • Knowledge or Experience with SAP solutions is a plus
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in process mapping and modelling tools (e.g., Visio, BPMN).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or related disciplines is a plus.
