Technical & Data Analysis
- Analyze machine data, production data, downtime logs, and quality records.
- Perform hands-on data exploration using SQL, Python, or BI tools.
- Work with Data Engineers to define data schemas, ingestion rules, and pipelines.
- Validate data availability, accuracy, and readiness for analytics or automation use cases.
System & Integration Design
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Map data flows across MES, ERP, IoT/SCADA, PLCs, WMS, and analytics platforms.
- Support integration design (API, connectors, event streaming, ETL/ELT logic).
- Assess system impacts, constraints, and implications on processes.
Process Mapping & Productivity Insights
- Conduct “As-Is” process analyses and design “To-Be” workflows that embed digital tools or data insights.
- Identify pain points and propose data-backed improvement opportunities.
- Support development of dashboards, reports, and automation requirements.
Delivery Support
- Draft BRD/FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scripts.
- Support UAT, investigate defects, and verify logic/data results.
- Ensure documentation and requirements traceability throughout the project.
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Facilitate workshops with Production, Engineering, Quality, Planning, IT, and Data teams.
- Communicate technical details in clear business language.
- Support change management and rollout of new digital tools.
We love that you are...
- 3–7+ years as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Industrial Engineer, or Systems Analyst.
- Strong technical skills:
- SQL (required)
- Python (preferred)
- Power BI / Tableau / Looker
- Experience with manufacturing systems: MES, SCADA/IoT, PLC data, ERP.
- Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and integration concepts.
- Strong documentation and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with hands-on teams.
