About the Team:
 

The Retail Facilities & Maintenance Specialist is responsible for overseeing the overall repairs and maintenance, and facility operations of all stores within US & Canada. They will work closely with store operations , Field management and vendors/contractors to identify problems, develop short and/or long-term sustainable solutions and coordinate all work.

 

The scope includes scheduling, coordinating, negotiating, budget management as well as following through of all the NAM retail facilities maintenance such as HVAC, store cleaning, mechanical, electrical ,plumbing, , fire protection systems, general repairs as well as store close outs. This position will also work closely with the Store Planning team on the turnover of new stores along with providing support with special initiatives.

 

 

Your Role as a Retail Facilities & Maintenance Specialist:

 

  • Maintain relationships with all Field Management ,VM, Real estate, store construction &  planning , NAM & Global OPS Teams.
  • Assist the team in coordinating small scale layout improvements such as fixture reconfigurations and special project installations in collaboration with Store Planning and Global team.
  • Identify problems and work on solutions, coordinating with field SR. management  and vendors.
  • Liaison with the store teams, Visual Merchandising and Operations as well as vendors to ensure minimal store/business interruption;
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance of stores through vendor Facilities platform, Drive and implement the use of facilities platform with all Store managers and vendors;
  • Review all cost proposals, challenging when needed;
  • Maintain status update of costs and schedule for review with Senior Manager of Facilities and General Services;
  • Develop and maintain cost summary of all maintenance work (OPEX and CAPEX maintenance) reviewing with Finance and Senior Manager, Facilities and General Services;
  • Make periodic site visits to ensure store conditions are up to Pandora’s standards;
  • Keep track and maintain all records for floor plans, specs, materials and preferred vendor list for each store and corporate location;
  • Review installations on site as required, verifying that repairs and lay-out improvements are being installed correctly;
  • Review and approve proposal and invoices on a timely basis; Follow up with outstanding repairs and maintenance issues;
  • Provide regular status updates to Senior Manager, Facilities and General Services;
  • Address urgent facilities issues immediately and escalate any issue to Senior Management of retail excellence as needed;
  • Maintenance of all relevant files; including store policy & procedure
  • Any other facilities and general services work in NAM as directed by Senior Mgt
  • Ensure PANDORA Americas Strategic Priorities and Life Values are consistently adhered to and incorporated into daily tasks including: professional relationships, processes, material development, and communications

 

What is needed to suceed: 
 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in construction administration field;
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role within a Retail or Wholesale Organisation
  • Experience with small scale layout improvements such as fixture reconfigurations and special project installations
  • Previous experience supporting retail field teams to minimise disruption
  • Experience developing, reviewing and maintaining cost summary and proposals
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Retail Business acumen
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once

NYC Salary Range: $46,000 - $80,000 (commensurate with experience)
