Your role as a Project Manager, Store Network Expansion:
As a Project Manager, Store Network Expansion, you will play a pivotal role in executing Pandora’s network expansion strategy within your assigned geographical region. Reporting to the D&T Lead, Store Network Expansion, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and implementation of all IT-related deliverables for store openings, relocations, and acquisitions.
This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The program operates within a matrix organization with shared resources and capabilities, meaning that the Project Manager will need to effectively collaborate across various teams, functions and multiple time zones to achieve successful project outcomes in a global setting.

- Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage detailed project plans for store expansion activities covering the IT deliverables within the assigned region. Ensure that all milestones, timelines, and deliverables are clearly defined and communicated to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including store managers, regional teams, vendors, and senior leadership. Ensure that stakeholders are engaged and informed throughout the project lifecycle, addressing any concerns or requirements proactively.
- Implementation Planning: Coordinate and oversee the execution of IT deliverables in store expansion projects, ensuring that all implementation activities are thoroughly planned and aligned with overall project goals. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including those responsible for hardware requests, field engineer bookings, and internet setup, to integrate IT installations seamlessly into broader store expansion efforts.
- Process Facilitation and Streamlining: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency in the execution of IT deliverables. Facilitate the implementation of best practices and standardized processes within the matrix organization to ensure consistent and high-quality outcomes across all projects.
- Escalation Routes and Reporting: Establish clear escalation routes for addressing issues that arise during project execution. Ensure that problems are escalated promptly to the appropriate levels and that effective solutions are implemented. Prepare and deliver regular reports to the D&T Lead, Store Network Expansion and D&T leadership on project status, risks, and outcomes.
- Transparency and Governance: Ensure transparency in all project activities by maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, including project plans, timelines, budgets, and issue logs. Adhere to governance frameworks and ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies.
- Vendor Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for vendors and subcontractors within the region. Ensure that all work is completed according to the agreed-upon schedules, quality standards, and SLAs. Address any issues or delays promptly and escalate as necessary.
- Quality Assurance and Testing: Implement and enforce rigorous end-to-end testing protocols for all IT installations. Ensure that all systems and hardware are fully functional before store opening, with a focus on minimizing post-opening issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of store expansion processes and methodologies. Provide feedback on vendor performance, site surveys, and installation practices to help refine and optimize the overall program.
- Language Skills: You will engage with stakeholders across North and South America, requiring proficiency in English, as well as Spanish, and/or Portuguese.

- At least 5-7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on network infrastructure, IT installations, or related fields. Experience in retail or a similar industry is highly preferred.
- Understanding of network infrastructure, including ISP installations, IT systems, and backup internet solutions. Familiarity with project management software and tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. Experience in coordinating with vendors and subcontractors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, information technology, or a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working on store expansion projects in a geographically diverse environment.
- Familiarity with site survey processes, IT infrastructure requirements for retail environments, and vendor management.
- Previous experience in a role where improving operational efficiency and managing quality were key priorities.

Maryland salary: $105,000.00 - $115,000.00 commensurate on experience
