Supervisor, DFM (AAA)

Imagine transforming innovative jewellery concepts into manufacturing-ready products through early testing, 3D technology, and robust production standards. If you have strong manufacturing expertise, enjoy solving technical challenges, and can bridge the gap between product development and mass production, then you might be our next Supervisor, Design for Manufacturing (DFM) at Pandora Production.

We love that you will…

Early Testing & Manufacturing Readiness

  • Collaborate with Product Development and represent the plant in early technology testing and innovation initiatives.

  • Execute and analyze early test samples to verify product and process performance, providing technical feedback and improvement recommendations to development teams.

  • Establish initial process parameters, routing, tooling requirements, and manufacturing methods based on testing results.

  • Identify technical and manufacturing risks early and recommend preventive actions to ensure readiness for mass production.

3D Printing & Technical Design

  • Supervise and coordinate 3D wax printing activities, including job setup, printing, support cleaning, quality monitoring, and troubleshooting.

  • Utilize CAD/CAM tools such as Rhinoceros and relevant 3D printing software to support product development, product enhancement, and sprue design.

  • Monitor printing quality and resolve technical issues to ensure samples meet required specifications and quality standards.

  • Work closely with Product Development and technical teams to translate product designs into practical manufacturing solutions.

Product Master & Process Standardization

  • Lead the design and optimization of Product Master and sprue configurations to ensure quality and mass production readiness.

  • Establish and maintain Product Master, routing, and related technical standards to ensure consistency and accuracy.

  • Work closely with Product Development to implement product improvements, technical specifications, and preventive actions.

  • Provide technical feedback and ensure plant manufacturing requirements are correctly implemented during product development.

  • Manage and maintain Internal Change Control (ICC) documentation related to product and manufacturing changes.

New Machine & Process Implementation

  • Support the evaluation, testing, introduction, and implementation of new machines, technologies, and manufacturing processes.

  • Assess new processes and equipment to improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and product quality.

  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure smooth equipment installation, testing, process validation, and production implementation.

  • Support technical training and knowledge transfer to prepare production teams for new equipment and manufacturing processes.

Prototype to Mass Production Readiness

  • Provide engineering specifications and technical support throughout the product development journey, from prototypes and 3D casting to production samples and mass production.

  • Ensure production sample testing, validation, and related documentation are completed accurately and within required timelines.

  • Verify Product Master duplication for REP and analyze results to identify improvements before mass production release.

  • Track and improve REP testing activities to support production targets and successful new product launches.

  • Work effectively within demanding new product timelines and available resources while achieving quality, productivity, cost, and delivery expectations.

Standard Time, Routing & BOM Accuracy

  • Record and maintain standard time information during early testing phases.

  • Provide technical support for standard time estimation in DC1.

  • Establish and maintain accurate manufacturing routing information based on actual production processes and technical requirements.

  • Support BOM accuracy and ensure manufacturing information is aligned with product specifications and production requirements.

  • Collaborate with relevant teams to improve manufacturing standards, productivity, quality, and cost performance.

  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies, procedures, quality requirements, and applicable manufacturing standards.

We love that you are…

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Jewellery and Gem Design, Manufacturing, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in jewellery manufacturing, product development, or a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience supporting new products from prototype or testing stages through to mass production.

  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes, Product Master, routing, BOM, and standard time.

  • Experience with CAD/CAM, 3D printing, or Rhinoceros would be an advantage.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills.

  • Good English communication skills would be an advantage.
