New Product Testing and Delivery:
- Manage and execute the new product SOV testing phase, ensuring the timely delivery of Pre-production sample, and Handover packages that meet established criteria.
- Manage the new product D testing phase, ensuring the timely lunch to mass production and Handover packages that meet criteria. (BB Plant)
Product Master Optimization:
- Collaborate with the team to design and optimize Product Master sprue, ensuring quality and suitability for mass production.
Process Optimization:
- Design and optimize parameters, process routing, and tooling for new products based on testing results, representing a mass production process.
- Design and optimize Hanging, parameters, consumption and plating Program for new products (BB Plant)
Work Instruction and Monitoring:
- Manage and provide work instructions and training for new product mass production.
- Monitor, track, investigate, and improve new product testing processes to achieve set targets.
Information Summary and Handover:
- Summarize information and testing results of new products, ensuring alignment, and handover to the Production team, making it ready for mass production.
Standard Time and BOM Accuracy:
- Manage the capture of standard time and verify BOM accuracy for material planning and master data preparation.
Product Master Feedback:
- Provide feedback and recommend changes to the Product Master based on testing results required for mass production.
Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
- Collaborate with the Production team, PEx team, and Quality team to incorporate mass production learnings into the process development.
Coaching and Mentoring:
- Coach and mentor team members on technical knowledge related to product engineering matters.
- Build and develop the team in alignment with C&S strategy, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
We love that you are…
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Jewelry Engineering, Jewelry & Gem Design, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Product Engineering, Process Engineering, New Product Introduction (NPI), Manufacturing Engineering, or Production Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- At least 3–5 years of experience leading teams or working in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process development, and production optimization. Experience in jewelry manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Experience in new product development, product testing, process validation, and production transfer to mass manufacturing.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while working effectively under tight deadlines.
- Good knowledge of engineering methodologies, process improvement tools, and manufacturing best practices.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing-related systems.
- Good command of both written and spoken English.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Adaptable to change with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experienced or familiar with change management principles.
