Specialist, Store Design, Construction & Maintenance

Joining our Property & Network Development Team in Madrid, you will be in charge of operational management of retail maintenance activities across in Spain and Portugal – aproximatly 220 stores.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

 

As Project Management – Construction & Maintenance Specialist, you will take full ownership of maintenance operations in Iberia, ensuring service continuity, supplier performance and cost control, while supporting the department’s evolution toward a more structured and governance-driven operating model.

 

YOUR MAIN MISSIONS WILL BE AS THE FOLLOWING:

 

  • Take full ownership of corrective and preventive maintenance across Iberia.
  • Manage HVAC systems and seasonal risk mitigation (especially summer peak periods).
  • Act as escalation point for critical incidents (store downtime, safety issues, major technical failures).
  • Manage maintenance budget within the annual framework defined by the department.
  • Monitor costs by category and supplier, validating quotations and interventions.
  • Manage and monitor supplier performance based in SLA, KPIs, service quality.
  • Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Support implementation of the new ticketing system and structured reporting model.
  • Contribute to reducing reactive workload through stronger preventive planning.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

 

  • 5–7+ years of experience in retail multi-site maintenance, preferably in fast-moving retail.
  • Technical degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture.
  • Strong technical background in HVAC, electrical systems and retail installations.
  • Experience in supplier and operational budgets management.
  • Strong technical problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to work under pressure in complex environments.
  • Structured, detail-oriented and highly accountable.
