Specialist, Machine & Maintenance Engineer (GEMO)

Maintain machine and equipment alternative production

• Maintain and enhance machine safety, efficiency &reliability to support productivity and delivery.
• • Support to production operate at high performance and products are met specification and quality standard.
  • Ensure machines run at high capacity with optimum maintenance cost.
  • Quick respond to investigate machine issue or fault and perform trouble shooting to bring machine back to normal.
  • Lead problem solving to verify issue/problem, identify the root cause and implement the corrective action and preventive solution when team found production abnormality during running operation.
  • Also support to implement control plan related machine or equipment.
  • Collaborate other functions or relevant stakeholder when production parameter and condition deviated from defined procedure or requirement.
  • Ensure machines, tools and equipment are ready to operate and ensure Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance are planned and executed.
  • Guarantee and monitor spare part inventory according to preventive maintenance plan and corrective maintenance.
  • Also support to generate Spare part predictive planning and budget.
  • Collect and analyze machine and equipment breakdown and repair for further improvement and prevention in future.
  • Responsible for Overall equipment effective result to measure and monitor machine performance and define area from improvement.
  • Performs skilled maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical and building systems.
  • Train and coach operator for machine operation and basic maintenance.

Improvement and initiatives new machine and equipment

• • Coordinate and provide insightful information to team in new technology development processes (Co-develop).
  • Participate in buyoff or factory acceptance test process for new machine, new tool to ensure they are qualified and ready for operation.
  • Set standard for machine setup work instruction and procedure.to perform machine set up for operation as per work instruction and procedure.
  • Generate relevant document for operation Build Sheet, Work Instruction and supported document for machine operation.
  • Lead communicates and coordinate with machine maker or supplier to find out machine issue/problem solution.
  • Continue seeking new technology to improve productivity, cost, and quality.
  • Collaborate and monitoring of assigned new machine and new projects.
  • Provide Capital expenditure request.
  • Implement engineering project following master project timeline.

Team management

• • Prioritize and assign tasks so that the team's resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met.
  • Lead team to enhance machine safety, efficiency &reliability to support productivity and delivery.
  • Planning and conclusion team work load to the repair and routine maintenance of production machine/equipment, machinery or instruments function reliably and safely and that facilities, buildings, and plants are in good working order.
  • Monitor the condition of maintenance equipment, materials, parts, and tools that are used by maintenance workers
  • Coordinate the day‐to‐day activities of maintenance workers to ensure that production equipment

• Coach and provide constructive feedback to subordinate and promote collaborative culture.
