Specialist, Advance Quality Engineer

Imagine being Specialist, Advance Quality Engineer to Oversee New products introduction (NPI) and new manufacturing process are developed, validated, and launched using the APQP framework and are fully prepared before mass production. Leads cross‑functional efforts to prevent defects, reduce risk, and ensure that quality requirements are met on time and with consistent quality.

  • Lead and manage Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities for New Product introduction (NPI) and new manufacturing process
  • Lead PFMEA review. Identify potential quality risks and define preventive actions. Monitor implementation of risk mitigation.
  • Review for initial, Pre-Launch control plan with sampling plans, acceptance criteria, and necessary quality controls. Process audit execute during pre-Launch phase.
  • Buy off quality result on pre-production trials and pilot runs.
  • Validate manufacturing process capability. Identify critical characteristics and define inspection methods and sampling plan to match with process capability.
  • Drive root cause analysis for quality issues discovered during prototype and pre-production. Prepare corrective and preventive actions for mass production.
  • Drive defect, Scrap and Rework reduction, process risk mitigation plan with preproduction, pilot team Hand over to mass production team. Define, follow up and monitor initial run and hyper care activity and result to meet the expectation and require action when result doesn’t meet.
  • Develop and implement innovative ideas to continuously enhance their area, focusing on data tracking systems, corrective actions, and leveraging quality data to identify and predict defects in mass production.
  • Lead Campaign audit and ensure production process are meet the mitigation and prevention plan. Follow up relevant team when found nonconformity from process audit
  • Work with SQC to ensure new material are comply with specification
  • Facilitate and lead launch readiness before mass production and escalation when any failure found

 

We love that you are…

  • Bachelor’s degree or Higher in Engineer, Science or any related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality engineering or APQP.
  • Experience in Jewelry manufacturing or related manufacturing industries
  • Experience to establish APQP, PFMEA, PCP, MSA and SPC
  • Good knowleade of QualityAssurance and Quality Control
  • Good communication skills, verbal, written and technical presentations
  • Strong knowledge on manufacturing process.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Ambition and ready to deal with change
