The Senior HR Business Partner, Global Business Services, acts as a strategic people partner to the GBS leadership team, shaping and executing the people agenda for the global GBS organization. The role supports the continued development of GBS as a global function, with a focus on the Warsaw capability centre/PJSS and active partnership with GBS locations across markets, including existing and emerging hub-and-spoke locations. The role ensures that people priorities, talent plans, organization design, leadership effectiveness, engagement, and employee experience are aligned across geographies while reflecting local market needs.

This role requires a senior, hands-on HR partner who can operate across borders and cultures, influence global and local leaders, bring a clear GBS people perspective, and constructively challenge where tailored people solutions are required.

 

The Scope
The role supports the Global Business Services organization across its hub-and-spoke model, including the Warsaw hub and other GBS locations such as China, Mexico City, Copenhagen, and planned growth locations including Vietnam and Thailand. The Warsaw capability centre/PJSS includes teams across finance, procurement, merchandising, data, technology, and related business services. The broader GBS organization is expected to continue growing globally.

 

Key Responsibilities
•    Partner with global and local leaders to define and execute priorities aligned with the business strategy, operating model, and growth agenda.
•    Act as a trusted advisor to GBS leadership and people managers across locations on organization effectiveness, leadership, engagement, talent, culture, and employee relations.
•    Ensure strong collaboration across GBS markets, bringing consistency to the people agenda while adapting solutions to local business and legal contexts through effective partnership and  smooth collaboration with geographical HR teams.
•    Represent the GBS people perspective in enterprise HR discussions and ensure that global HR initiatives are effectively translated into the GBS environment.
•    Advise on organization design, workforce planning, capability needs, role clarity, structural changes, and future growth requirements across the GBS footprint.
•    Lead and facilitate talent reviews, succession planning, performance calibration, and leadership development discussions for the GBS organization.
•    Support the development of strong and diverse talent pipelines across GBS locations.
•    Use employee listening, engagement, retention, and workforce data to identify organizational risks and recommend practical actions.
•    Coach leaders on performance management, employee development, career conversations, conflict resolution, and fair people practices.
•    Provide dedicated HRBP support for the Warsaw/PJSS organization, including guidance on local policies, procedures, employee relations, and compliance matters.
•    Partner with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Rewards, Talent, and Learning teams to deliver integrated people solutions across GBS.
•    Support cross-location change initiatives by advising leaders on people impact, communication, engagement, and adoption.
•    Promote a positive, inclusive, ethical, and compliant working environment across the global GBS organization.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Law, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
•    Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, including strong HR Business Partner experience in a global or matrixed organization.
•    Experience supporting senior leaders and people managers across multiple countries, cultures, and functions.
•    Experience in GBS, SSC, BPO, shared services, retail, or international corporate environments.
•    Strong experience in organization design, workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, performance management, employee relations, and change management.
•    Proven ability to translate global business priorities into practical, locally relevant people solutions.
•    Experience partnering with HR Centers of Excellence and HR Operations across geographies.
•    Good understanding of Polish employment practices and ability to work effectively with local legal and HR stakeholders in other markets.
•    Fluent Polish and English language skills.
