Senior Analyst, Retail & Trade

From here, we manage across the region, handling our wholesale distribution as well as our owned and operated stores and e-commerce. In addition to our Warsaw office, we have local offices in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Hungary supporting our business in these markets.

As a result of our growth ambitions, we are looking for Senior Business Analyst – Retail & Trade, who will be responsible for delivering high-quality commercial insights, performance monitoring, and forecasting to support data-driven decision-making across the retail organization. This role acts as a strategic partner to Sales Management and cross-functional teams, driving performance improvements and identifying growth opportunities.

In this Role, You will:

1. Commercial insights:

  • Deliver clear, actionable insights by analysing sales trends, performance patterns, and root causes across multiple markets.
  • Translate complex data into meaningful business narratives, strategic recommendations and commercial actions.
  • Combine quantitative data with qualitative feedback from stores and field teams to drive informed decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales productivity, customer experience and operational efficiency

2. Forecasting:

  • Lead daily and store-level revenue forecasting across 5 markets.
  • Build and maintain store-level sales and KPI (conversion rate, basket size) targets based on trends, seasonality and commercial assumptions.
  • Partner with Retail and Finance teams to validate assumptions and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Monitor forecast performance and proactively recommend adjustments based on changing market conditions.

3. KPI Monitoring & reporting:

  • Own regular reporting of key Retail KPIs across country, region, store and transaction levels, primarily through Power BI dashboards.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency and timely delivery of reports to key stakeholders.
  • Act as a bridge between Global BI and Retail teams to maximise tool adoption, usability, and business impact.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration & ad-hoc analysis:

  • Support Sales and Retail departments with ad-hoc analyses, business cases, and performance deep-dives.
  • Partner closely with Regional Sales Managers and Country Managers to understand priorities and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Identify risks, growth opportunities and key performance drivers to support strategic decision-making.

 

We’re the perfect match, if You have:

  • University degree (preferably in business, economics, finance)
  • Experience on a similar, analytical position in retail (including an excellent understanding of retail KPIs)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large sets of data to drive decision-making by generating insights on open-ended or multi-layered questions that are presented in an audience-conform way, ability to communicate complex concepts to business stakeholders,
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Excel incl. PowerPivot and PowerQuery as well as PowerPoint),
  • Power BI,
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment, ability to deal with situations where multitasking is frequently required
  • Fluency in English and Polish – verbally and written,
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, demonstrated multitasking and prioritizing skills,
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Proactivity and curiosity, can-do attitude,
  • Passion for work and the product.
