Student Assistant, S&OP/IBP - Global Supply Chain Planning & Analytics

Are you analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to gain hands-on experience in global supply chain planning? Do you enjoy working with data, generating insights, and supporting business decision-making?

Pandora is currently looking for a Student Assistant to join our S&OP/IBP team within Global Supply Chain. In this role, you will contribute to the monthly planning cycle and metal hedging process through data consolidation, analysis, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.

You will take ownership of selected recurring deliverables and support the improvement of planning tools, inventory management, data quality, and processes across Global Supply Chain.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), supply chain analytics, inventory planning, and process improvement in one of the world's leading jewellery brands. Working closely with stakeholders across Pandora's global organization, you will gain valuable insight into how data, planning, and cross-functional collaboration drive operational and commercial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidate data and prepare reports, analyses, and meeting materials for the monthly S&OP/IBP cycle.
  • Take ownership of selected recurring reports and data-consolidation activities.
  • Develop and maintain planning tools, dashboards, KPIs, and inventory projections with guidance from the team.
  • Support the metal hedging process by consolidating forecasts, conducting analyses, preparing decision materials, and coordinating stakeholder input.
  • Analyze inventory, production, and supply chain performance and translate data into clear business insights.
  • Coordinate meeting agendas, materials, stakeholder input, action tracking, and follow-up.
  • Contribute to improvements in planning processes, reporting, automation, and data quality.
  • Support ad hoc analyses and tasks as required.

Your Team

You will join the S&OP/IBP team within Global Supply Chain and report to the S&OP/IBP Manager. The team collaborates closely with stakeholders across Crafting & Supply, Global Treasury, and other areas within Global Supply Chain to support planning, decision-making, and business performance.

As part of the team, you will gain first-hand experience with how integrated planning processes connect demand, supply, inventory, and financial considerations across a global organization.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree within Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Ideally have at least one year remaining of your studies.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, Power Query, and working with large datasets.
  • Comfortable working with data and translating it into meaningful insights.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with BI, ERP, MRP, WMS, reporting, or planning tools is considered an advantage.
  • Previous full-time work experience is not required. Relevant experience gained through student employment, internships, university projects, or similar activities is considered an advantage.
  • An interest in automation, digitalization, and AI-enabled planning processes is considered a plus.

Personal Competencies

  • Analytical and curious, with a strong interest in supply chain planning, S&OP, and Integrated Business Planning.
  • Structured and detail-oriented in your approach to tasks and problem-solving.
  • Proactive and eager to learn, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for assigned deliverables.
  • A clear and confident communicator.
  • Collaborative and confident working with stakeholders across different functions and markets.
  • Able to balance attention to detail with an understanding of the bigger picture.

You Will Get

  • Hands-on experience with S&OP, Integrated Business Planning, and global supply chain processes.
  • Opportunities to work with data consolidation, reporting, analysis, and inventory planning.
  • Insight into the metal hedging process and the coordination of forecasts and stakeholder input.
  • Exposure to cross-functional collaboration across Global Supply Chain, Crafting & Supply, and Global Treasury.
  • Opportunities to develop your Excel, analytical, and business communication skills.
  • Experience taking ownership of recurring reports and deliverables.
  • The opportunity to contribute to improvements in planning processes, automation, reporting, and data quality.
