Imagine being Manager, Plating Operation (Lamphun) has a very versatile role to fulfil. One the one side he/she has to oversee and control the complete plating operation, as well as hanging and cutting of the pieces to be plated. In addition to that both plating lines need to be tightly controlled by the staff of the analytical laboratories. Lastly the assignment includes the management of the quality inspection (QI) departments testing the WIP coming from Finishing Before Plating (FNBP).

Support implementation and execution of production strategic/ productivity roadmap, and relevant company strategies/ initiatives
Ensure manufactruing processs, parameters, and procedures are accurate and strickly followed to maintaint the high standard of operations
Manage shop-floor operation and ensure high quality product, on-time delivery and lowest possible cost, including provide supports the night shift as necessary
Oversee production performance against targets; provide insight and recommendation, and ensure corrective actions are taken in timely manner
Manage quality inspection teams of WIP after finishing before plating
Colloborate with Quality, FM and PEx team to investigate and rectify quality issues and other technical problems in a timely manner.
Support the innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the production; be a gate-keeper for commissioning activities and handover processes

Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in a plating or similar manufacturing operation, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role
Proven track record of successfully managing a plating operation, including process optimisation, quality control, and team leadership
Strong technical knowledge of plating processes, equipment, and industry regulations
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proficient in data analysis and reporting
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
