About the Team:
The National Account Manager – Dillard’s is responsible for leading the strategic partnership with Dillard’s to drive retail sell-out, assortment productivity, and profitable growth across the network. This role owns the development and execution of Dillard’s-specific strategies that accelerate consumer demand while optimizing assortments, inventory flow, and category performance at the door level.
This role serves as the primary liaison between Pandora and the Dillard’s buying organization, partnering closely with Dillard’s merchants, planners, and field leadership to influence assortment decisions, identify growth opportunities, and maximize productivity across the business. The National Account Manager develops and communicates clear strategies around assortment optimization, inventory management, category performance, visual presentation, promotional execution, and retail productivity to drive consistent performance across all locations.
The National Account Manager maintains a deep understanding of the Dillard’s customer, regional selling patterns, competitive landscape, and category trends, leveraging data analytics and field insights to identify opportunities by door, climate, volume tier, and customer profile. This role is highly analytical and requires strong business acumen, including the ability to evaluate SKU productivity, identify assortment gaps, forecast opportunities, and build data-driven selling strategies in partnership with the Dillard’s buying and planning teams.
This position partners closely with Divisional Directors, Divisional Sales Managers, Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain, Category Management, and Wholesale teams to deliver against commercial objectives. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, analytical, and results-oriented, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
Your Role as a National Wholesale Account Manager, Dillards:
- Develop comprehensive, Dillard’s-specific growth strategies in partnership with Divisional Sales Managers and Dillard’s merchants, aligned to broader divisional objectives with a primary focus on retail sell-out, assortment productivity, and sustainable growth.
- Serve as the primary business partner to the Dillard’s buying and planning teams, building strong relationships and driving alignment around assortments, inventory flow, newness, launch strategies, and category opportunities.
- Analyze sales performance, assortment productivity, SKU rankings, regional selling trends, and inventory health to identify risks and opportunities and recommend actionable business strategies.
- Partner with Dillard’s merchants to develop optimized assortments by door tier, climate, customer profile, and volume classification to maximize productivity and improve sell-through.
- Lead seasonal and monthly business reviews with Dillard’s, providing detailed analytics, business recaps, category insights, and forward-looking opportunities to support growth initiatives.
- Develop sales forecasts and go-forward strategies based on current trends, productivity metrics, inventory levels, and anticipated customer demand.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Wholesale teams to ensure alignment on inventory flow, replenishment priorities, launches, and promotional execution.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for strategic expansion within the Dillard’s network, including new locations, elevated presentations, SIS opportunities, fixture evolution, and pilot initiatives.
- Monitor competitive trends, promotional activity, and category performance within Dillard’s and the broader department store landscape to identify opportunities and risks.
- Ensure strong operational execution and inventory management across the Dillard’s network, including replenishment performance, in-stock positions, assortment integrity, and visual standards.
- Deliver against revenue, retail comp growth, assortment productivity, KPI, and P&L targets.

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, merchandising, economics, marketing, or related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in wholesale, retail, buying, planning, or national account management, preferably within department stores or large national accounts.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience interpreting assortment productivity, inventory performance, sell-through, and forecasting metrics.
- Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities, with experience utilizing tools such as Power BI, SQL, or retail analytics platforms preferred.
- Experience partnering directly with retail buyers, planners, and merchants to drive category growth and optimize assortments.
- Strong understanding of retail and wholesale operations, including inventory management, replenishment, merchandising, and promotional planning.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners in a matrixed organization.
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Dallas Salary: $108,000 to $135,000
